How to use
Pour 1 teaspoon of the mixture (2.0 g) with 1 cup (200 ml) of boiling water, steep for 10-15 minutes, strain, and bring the volume of the resulting infusion to 200 ml with boiled water. Adults and children over 14 years of age should take ½ cup 2 times a day with meals. Duration of intake - 1 month. If necessary, the intake can be repeated.

Pharmacology
Sage infusion is indicated in combination therapy as a gargle for angina and pharyngitis. Sage contains essential oil rich in camphor, cineole, pinene, and tannins, which contribute to its therapeutic effect. Sage also aids in inflammation of the gums and mucous membranes of the oral cavity - gingivitis, stomatitis. In this case, gargling is prescribed.
Pharmacological action: sage leaf infusion has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and astringent effects.
Indication: in combination therapy for inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity (stomatitis, gingivitis), throat (angina, pharyngitis).

Настой шалфея показан в комплексной терапии, как средство для полоскания горла при ангинах и фарингитах. Шалфей содержит эфирное масло, богатое камфарой, цинеолом, пиненами, дубильными веществами, и за счет этого оказывает свой лечебный эффект.
