Indications

For accelerating the healing of granulating and sluggishly healing wounds in the second phase of the wound process: dermatitis, burns, pressure sores, furuncles, trophic ulcers, postoperative sutures, photodermatoses, radiation injuries.

Method of application and doses

Open the packaging along the cutting line and remove the dressing. If necessary, cut a fragment from the covering with scissors that corresponds to the size of the wound surface. Remove one protective film from the dressing. Carefully apply the dressing to the wound surface. Apply the covering so that it extends 0.5 cm beyond the edges of the wound and after 1-2 minutes, remove the second protective layer. Place a sterile gauze pad on the covering and secure it with a bandage. The frequency of changing the dressing depends on the condition of the wound. The reduction in healing time is due to the release of the medicinal substance from the dressing into the deeper layers of the wound and the stimulation of the regeneration process. The dressing has an anti-inflammatory effect, preventing the development of secondary infection during treatment. The dressing does not damage the wound surface and, with regular changes, does not stick to the wound. However, the dressing can remain on the wound for 2 to 10 days. Treatment with one dressing for more than 3 days (without changing) is carried out strictly under the supervision of a medical professional.

Voskoprán is a wound dressing with unique "living" properties. Its development is based on the discovery by Russian scientists who established that a wound perceives the organic nature of wax as an active wound-healing environment. Beeswax is the hemolymph of the insect, which contains a large number of amino acids, minerals, and vitamins. Wax has a stimulating effect on the reparative processes in the wound, which makes the healing processes occur more intensively.
1. The mesh base with a special cell weaving drains the exudate (wound discharge) and allows it to pass into the secondary dressing.
2. Due to the unique properties of wax, the Voskoprán dressing does not stick to the wound during the initial inflammatory stage of the wound process, and the ointment contained in the dressing penetrates into the deeper layers of the wound.
3. As soon as the wound is "cleansed," the dressing adheres to the surface of the wound due to the wax and is perceived by the wound as a biological scab (crust), aiding in the formation of epithelium. If there are no infection foci on the wound, the dressing can be left on the surface until complete healing. Subsequently, the dressing naturally detaches from the wound, forming a smooth, scar-free surface in its place.
