Veda-2 Pediculicide Shampoo for Lice Single Use 100 ml

Destruction of head lice, pubic lice, and their eggs in adults and children from 5 years old.

For the hair of the head or hairy parts of the body (in the presence of pubic lice), thoroughly wet the area with water and vigorously lather with the pediculicide shampoo until foam forms in the usual manner. Rinse the hair with a 4.5% aqueous solution of table vinegar (dilute 9% table vinegar with water in a 1:1 ratio). Comb through with a comb to remove dead insects and nits. The recommended dosage of pediculicide shampoo is 10-30 ml per person, depending on the degree of infestation, hair length, and thickness. In case of re-infestation, repeat the treatment, but no more than 2 times a month.

Active ingredient: Permethrin - 0.5%. Cosmetic-hygienic shampoo up to 100%.

Do not use in children under 5 years of age; pregnant and breastfeeding women; individuals with various skin conditions; or those with manifestations of allergies to medical and cosmetic products.

Precautions: Before applying the product to the hair, to avoid contact with the mucous membranes of the eyes and nasopharynx, a cotton scarf twisted into a cord should be tied around the head (below the hair). If the product gets into the eyes, they should be rinsed with a stream of warm water. If wearing contact lenses, they should be removed before using the pediculicide. In case of pubic lice infestation, the mucous membranes of the perineum and genital organs should be protected with cotton-gauze tampons during treatment. If the shampoo comes into contact with the mucous membranes of the perineum and genital organs, they must be thoroughly rinsed with a stream of warm water.

Allergic reactions: skin rash, swelling.
Local reactions: skin burning, paresthesia, increased itching, erythematous rashes.

Antiparasitic agent, exhibits anti-lice and insecticidal action. Disrupts the permeability of Na+-channels in the membranes of insect nerve cells, inhibits the process of polarization (repolarization) of the nerve cell, leading to a paralyzing effect. Effective against nits, larvae, and adult forms of head and pubic lice, fleas, mites (including scabies), and other ectoparasites of the arthropod family.
With a single treatment of surfaces affected by pediculosis, the effect lasts from 2-3 weeks to 6 weeks (depending on the dosage form used). As an anti-scabies medication, it is effective after a single procedure.
Low toxicity for humans and when applied to the skin in recommended doses and concentrations, it does not have skin-resorptive, locally irritating, or sensitizing effects.
