Uterine pessaries "Yunona" are available in 3 types:

PRECAUTIONS:
The use of the "Yunona" uterine pessary after the expiration date indicated on the product packaging is not allowed. The "Yunona" uterine pessary is supplied non-sterile; disinfection is required before use.

CHOOSING THE SIZE OF THE "YUNONA" UTERINE PESSARY
The size of the pessary is selected individually. A pessary that is too large will exert excessive pressure on the vaginal walls, while a pessary that is too small may fall out. The choice of the uterine pessary size is made individually based on the anatomical features of the patient (most commonly, for stage 1 prolapse, type 1 or type 2 pessary is used; for stage 2, type 2 or 3; for stage 3, type 3). When the correct size is chosen, the pessary eliminates genital prolapse and does not cause pain or discomfort for the patient.

General recommendations for using the Yunona pessary

• It is recommended for the woman to undergo a gynecological examination before the installation of the pessary to exclude inflammatory diseases of the reproductive organs.

• The vaginal pessary is inserted following aseptic and antiseptic rules. It is recommended to apply lubricant before insertion.

• After inserting the pessary, it is necessary to check if the patient experiences any pain and whether the pessary falls out during straining. Proper installation of the uterine pessary guarantees its effectiveness and treatment of uterine descent and prolapse.

• It is recommended to undergo a gynecological examination every 2 weeks during the first 4 weeks after the pessary is installed (to assess treatment effectiveness).

• To clean the uterine ring, it can be rinsed in boiling water (boiled) or treated with an antiseptic.

MONITORING PATIENTS USING THE "YUNONA" UTERINE PESSARY
During the use of the "Yunona" uterine pessary, regular gynecological examinations are necessary. The duration of continuous use of the pessary is determined individually (from 15 to 25 days). The development of an inflammatory process during the use of the "Yunona" uterine pessary requires temporary removal and sanitation of the vagina.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PATIENTS
Before inserting the pessary, it is necessary to be examined by a gynecologist to exclude inflammatory and other diseases of the female reproductive organs. After the pessary is inserted, ensure that there are no unpleasant sensations and that the pessary does not fall out during straining. If pain occurs in the vagina or if the product falls out, it is necessary to use a pessary of a different size.
