The plant components in KASHTIL syrup are known for their healing and health-promoting properties in cases of cough. Their antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effects have been proven. Each plant is selected to achieve maximum relief from coughing. Additionally, these herbs have a general strengthening effect, contributing to the enhancement of the body's own defenses.
Adhatoda vasica has an expectorant effect by reducing the viscosity of mucus, enhancing mucociliary transport, and increasing surfactant production. It also has a calming and antispasmodic effect.
Licorice is known for its coating and expectorant properties. The expectorant properties are associated with the content of glycyrrhizin in its roots, which enhances the secretory function of the upper respiratory tract. The saponins in licorice irritate the mucous membranes not only of the respiratory tract but also of other organs, thereby increasing the secretion of their glands. Due to flavonoid compounds, licorice preparations have a spasmolytic effect on the smooth muscles of the bronchi.
Medicinal ginger contains essential oil, lipids, starches, tannins, resins, fatty acids, amino acids, and sugars. Medicinal ginger is used as an expectorant and analgesic.
Holy basil contains a large amount of essential oil, tannins, mineral salts, proteins, carbohydrates, acidic saponins, glycosides, sugars, phytoncides, carotene, rutin, vitamin C, PP, and B2. The healing properties of basil are due to the components found in the plant's essential oil, providing antiseptic, analgesic, and expectorant effects.
Turmeric stimulates the human immune system (increasing the phagocytic activity of macrophages). It removes excess mucus from the upper respiratory tract.
Pippali, long pepper, is a general strengthening and toning agent, a stimulant for digestive glands. Due to the combination of the alkaloid piperine, medicinal resins, and polysaccharides, it alleviates congestion in the respiratory system. It strengthens the immune system.
Peppermint contains tannins, flavonoids, bitters, ursolic acid, and oleanolic acid. Menthol is a traditional ingredient with the ability to soothe and soften an irritated throat, providing a pleasant cooling effect. This effect is explained by its local anesthetic properties concerning the mucous membrane of the throat.

Растительные компоненты, входящие в состав сиропа КАШТИЛ, известны своими целебными и оздо-ровительными свойствами при кашле. Доказан их антисептический и противовоспалительные эффекты. Каждое растение отобрано с целью достижения максимального облегчения состояния при кашле. Кроме того, эти травы обладают общеукрепляющим эффектом, способствуя повышению собственных защитных сил человека.
Адатода сосудистая оказывает отхаркивающее действие за счет того, что снижает вязкость мокроты, усиливает мукоцилиарный транспорт, увеличивает выработку сурфактанта. Обладает также успокои-тельным и спазмолитическим действием.
Солодка голая известна своим обволакивающим и отхаркивающим действием. Отхаркивающие свойства связывают с содержанием в ее корнях глицирризина, который усиливает секреторную функцию верхних дыхательных путей. Сапонины, содержащиеся в солодке, раздражают слизистые оболочки не только дыхательного тракта, но и других органов, усиливая при этом секрецию их желез. Благодаря флавоноидным соединениям препараты солодки действуют спазмолитически на гладкие мышцы бронхов.
Имбирь лекарственный содержит эфирное масло, липиды, крахмалы, танины, смолы, жирные кисло-ты, аминокислоты, сахар. Имбирь лекарственный применяют как отхаркивающее и обезболивающее средство.
Базилик священный содержит большое количество эфирного масла, дубильные вещества, минеральные соли, белки, углеводы, кислые сапонины, гликозиды, сахара, фитонциды, каротин, рутин, витамин С, РР, В2.
Целебные свойства базилика обусловлены компонентами, содержащимися в эфирном масле растения и оказывает антисептическое, болеутоляющее, отхаркивающее действие.
Куркума - стимулирует иммунную систему человека (возрастает фагоцитарная активность макрофагов). Удаляет избытки слизи из верхних дыхательных путей.
Пиппали, перец длинный является общеукрепляющим и тонизирующим средством, стимулятором пищеварительных желёз. Благодаря сочетанию алкалоида пиперина, лекарственных смол и полисахаридов устраняет застой в дыхательной системе. Укрепляет иммунную систему.
Мята перечная - в ее составе имеются дубильные вещества, флавоноиды, горечи, урсоловая и олеаноловая кислоты.
Ментол - традиционный ингредиент, обладающий способностью успокаивать и смягчать раздраженное горло, обеспечивает приятный охлаждающий эффект.
Этот эффект объясняется его местноанестезирующими свойствами в отношении слизистой оболочки горла.
