INSTRUCTION FOR PROVIDING FIRST AID USING A FIRST AID KIT FOR WORKERS:

a) When providing first aid, perform all manipulations while wearing medical gloves (p. 2 of the First Aid Kit Contents). If there is a threat of spreading infectious diseases, use a medical mask (p. 1 of the First Aid Kit Contents);

b) In case of arterial bleeding from a major (trunk) artery, apply pressure to the vessel with fingers at the pressure points, apply a tourniquet (p. 4 of the First Aid Kit Contents) above the site of injury, noting the time of application of the tourniquet in a written note, and apply a pressure (tight) bandage to the wound (p. 5 - 7 of the First Aid Kit Contents);

c) If the person receiving first aid is not breathing independently, perform artificial respiration using the "Mouth - Device - Mouth" apparatus (p. 3 of the First Aid Kit Contents);

d) If there is a wound, apply a pressure (tight) bandage using sterile wipes (p. 7 of the First Aid Kit Contents) and bandages (p. 5 - 6 of the First Aid Kit Contents). If there is no bleeding from the wound and it is not possible to apply a pressure bandage, place a sterile wipe (p. 7 of the First Aid Kit Contents) on the wound and secure it with adhesive tape (p. 8 of the First Aid Kit Contents). For micro-injuries, use a bactericidal adhesive plaster (p. 9 - 10 of the First Aid Kit Contents);

e) Unfold the emergency thermal blanket (p. 11 of the First Aid Kit Contents) with the silver side facing the body to protect against hypothermia; with the gold side facing the body to protect against overheating, leaving the face exposed, fold the end of the blanket and secure it.

The first aid kit is designed for providing emergency medical self- and mutual aid by workers outside medical institutions.
The first aid kit is manufactured in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation dated May 24, 2024, No. 262n.
Any organization, regardless of its legal form and area of activity, according to Article 223 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, must have a first aid kit for providing first aid.
The number of first aid kits is determined by the employer's local act, taking into account the number of employees and the nature of the work.
The complete list of items that must be in each employer's first aid kit is approved by the order of the Ministry of Health of Russia dated May 24, 2024, No. 262n "On the approval of requirements for the composition of the first aid kit for providing first aid to injured workers using medical devices."
It is intended for providing first aid in emergency situations, injuries at enterprises, institutions, road traffic accidents, and in any other conditions.

4. Tourniquet for stopping arterial bleeding - 1 pc.
5. Medical gauze bandage, size not less than 5 m × 10 cm or non-sterile elastic fixing bandage, size not less than 2 m × 10 cm - 4 pcs.
6. Medical gauze bandage, size not less than 7 m × 14 cm or non-sterile elastic fixing bandage, size not less than 2 m × 14 cm - 4 pcs.
7. Medical sterile wipes, size not less than 16 × 13 cm, No. 10 - 2 packs.
8. Adhesive tape, fixing, roll, size not less than 2 × 500 cm - 1 pc.
9. Bactericidal adhesive plaster, size not less than 1.9 × 7.2 cm - 10 pcs.
