Indications
Tenoten® for children is indicated for use in children aged from 1 month to 1 year.
Consequences of perinatal damage to the central nervous system (cerebral ischemia I-II degree, intracranial hemorrhage I-II degree, combined CNS damage) in children of the first year of life.

How to use
Orally. 10 drops (0.5 ml) once daily, 15 minutes before the morning feeding of the child, approximately at the same time. Before use, the drops can be diluted in a small amount (1-5 ml) of room temperature boiled water. Duration of therapy - 12 weeks.

Excipients: maltitol, glycerol, potassium sorbate, anhydrous citric acid, purified water.

Действующее вещество: антитела к мозгоспецифическому белку S-100 аффинно очищенные - 10 000 ЕМД* Вспомогательные вещества: мальтитол, глицерол, калия сорбат, лимонная кислота безводная, вода очищенная.
* ЕМД - единицы модифицирующего действия.
Бесцветная или почти бесцветная прозрачная жидкость.
Contraindications & warnings
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Children under 1 month of age.
Children from 1 year of age.
Sucrose-isomaltase deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
The safety of Tenoten® for children in pregnant and breastfeeding women has not been studied. The product is intended for use in children under 1 year of age.
The preparation contains maltitol, therefore it is not recommended for patients with rare hereditary fructose intolerance. Due to the activating properties of the drug Tenoten® for children, the last dose should be taken no later than 2 hours before sleep.
Effect on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery
The drug is intended for use in children under 1 year of age.

Применение при беременности и в период грудного вскармливания
Безопасность применения препарата Тенотен® детский у беременных и в период грудного вскармливания не изучалась. Препарат предназначен для применения у детей до 1 года.
В состав препарата входит мальтитол, в связи с чем его не рекомендуется назначать пациентам с редкой врожденной непереносимостью фруктозы. В связи с наличием в действии препарата Тенотен® детский активирующих свойств последний прием осуществить не позже, чем за 2 часа до сна.
Влияние на способность управлять транспортными средствами, механизмами
Препарат предназначен для применения у детей до 1 года.
Side effects, overdose & interactions
Possible reactions of increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug; mild diarrhea.
In case of overdose, dyspeptic symptoms may occur due to the excipients contained in the preparation. Treatment: symptomatic.
No cases of incompatibility with other medications have been reported to date.

Возможны реакции повышенной индивидуальной чувствительности компонентам препарата, легкая диарея.
При передозировке возможны диспепсические явления, обусловленные входящими в состав препарата вспомогательными веществами. Лечение: симптоматическое.
Случаев несовместимости с другими лекарственными средствами до настоящего времени не зарегистрировано.
Pharmacology
The drug has a calming, anxiolytic effect without causing undesirable hypnotic and muscle relaxant effects. It improves tolerance to psycho-emotional stress. It possesses stress-protective, nootropic, anti-amnesic, anti-hypoxic, neuroprotective, anti-asthenic, and antidepressant properties.
In conditions of intoxication, hypoxia, and post-acute cerebrovascular accident states, it exerts neuroprotective effects, limits the area of damage, and normalizes learning and memory processes in the central nervous system (CNS). It inhibits lipid peroxidation processes. It modifies the functional activity of protein S-100, which mediates synaptic (information) and metabolic processes in the brain. By exhibiting GABA-mimetic and neurotrophic effects, it enhances the activity of stress-limiting systems and promotes the restoration of neuronal plasticity processes.
The sensitivity of modern physicochemical analysis methods (gas-liquid chromatography, high-performance liquid chromatography, chromatographic mass spectrometry) does not allow for the assessment of the active substance content of the Tenoten® for Children preparation in biological fluids, organs, and tissues due to the specific composition of the preparation (see the section "Composition per 1 ml of oral drops"), which makes the study of pharmacokinetics technically impossible.

Препарат оказывает успокаивающее, противотревожное (анксиолитическое) действие, не вызывая нежелательных гипногенного и миорелаксантного эффектов. Улучшает переносимость психоэмоциональных нагрузок. Обладает стресс-протекторным, ноотропным, антиамнестическим, противогипоксическим, нейропротекторным, антиастеническим, антидепрессивным действием.
В условиях интоксикации, гипоксии, при состояниях после острого нарушения мозгового кровообращения оказывает нейропротекторное действие, ограничивает зону повреждения, нормализует процессы обучения и памяти в центральной нервной системе (ЦНС). Ингибирует процессы перекисного окисления липидов. Модифицирует функциональную активность белка S-100, осуществляющего в мозге сопряжение синаптических (информационных) и метаболических процессов. Оказывая ГАМК-миметическое и нейротрофическое действие, повышает активность стресс-лимитирующих систем, способствует восстановлению процессов нейрональной пластичности.
Чувствительность современных физико-химических методов анализа (газожидкостная хроматография, высокоэффективная жидкостная хроматография, хромато-масс-спектрометрия) не позволяет оценивать содержание действующего вещества препарата Тенотен® детский в биологических жидкостях, органах и тканях ввиду специфического состава препарата (см. раздел «Состав на 1 мл капель для приема внутрь»), что делает технически невозможным изучение фармакокинетики.
