Medical Compression Bandage elast 9512 m 80 mm x 2 m/medium elasticity

The bandage is intended for application to body areas for the purposes of compression, fixation, unloading, and support in cases of injuries, joint diseases, edema, and for securing heat/cold therapy packs to the body.

Application procedure.
The width of the bandage should be equal to or greater than the diameter of the body part being bandaged.
Method A.
When bandaging, you should:

• wrap a full circle, starting from the inner side of the wrist;

• make a diagonal turn downwards, through the outer side of the arm - between the thumb and index finger, then - back through the palm - to the wrist;

• wrap the bandage around the wrist and then down, through the palm, then - around the outer side of the arm, between the thumb and index finger, and back to the palm. Then wrap the wrist. Make a second full turn in an "8" pattern;

• wrap the wrist and start making circular turns upwards along the arm, covering half of the previous layer. Secure the bandage above the wrist.

Warning! The bandage should not be too loose and shift on the surface of the body; however, it should not be too tight either. The appearance of numbness in the fingers, a pulsing sensation under the bandages, or the onset of pain indicates an incorrect choice of bandage compression or the need to re-bandage.

Method B.
Applying a bandage for varicose disease:

• apply the bandage on the elevated leg from the bottom up, starting from the ankle, then to the foot, calf, and thigh;

• each turn of the bandage should overlap the previous turn by 50-70%;

• the last turn should be applied above the affected area by at least 5 cm;

• secure the bandage with a fastener;
The pressure of the bandage on the surface of the leg should be maximum at the bottom and gradually decrease towards the top.

1. The use of the Bandage is contraindicated for local infectious processes, as well as in the presence of signs of chronic arterial insufficiency.
2. Individual incompatibility with the components of the raw materials.

An individual allergic reaction to the materials from which the Bandage is made may occur.

The bandage is supplied in a non-sterile form and does not require sterilization or special disinfection during use. For cleaning during use, gentle hand washing in cold water without bleaching is recommended, followed by drying in a flattened state through natural air convection (without increasing the temperature).

Elastic bandage with medium stretchability, manufactured by Tonus Elast, is a white-beige strip of fabric, consisting of interwoven systems of threads arranged perpendicularly to each other. The bandage is a non-sterile, reusable product for single patient use.
