Pharmacology
Femodol - gentle normalization of estrogen balance.
Femodol, which contains 3,3-diindolylmethane (dry extract of broccoli) - a stable form of indole that is metabolized in the stomach within the first minutes of contact with gastric juice. Thus, 3,3-diindolylmethane provides the main effects of indole (indole-3-carbinol) in maintaining the health of the female reproductive system (breast, endometrium, myometrium, cervix, ovaries).
The reduction of breast pain in patients with cyclical mastalgia while taking 3,3-diindolylmethane has been confirmed by clinical studies.
Indications for use
Femodol is recommended as a dietary supplement containing 3,3-diindolylmethane to normalize functional state and prevent the development of hyperplastic processes in the breasts, reduce prolactin levels (due to interaction with dopamine D2 receptors in the hypothalamus). It helps normalize estrogen metabolism. It has anti-proliferative and antioxidant properties. Femodol is recommended for:
• cyclical mastalgia and mastodynia;
• prevention of fibrocystic mastopathy and as part of complex treatment, as well as for the correction of functional states of the breasts determined by this pathology.

Фемодол, в составе которого содержится 3,3-дииндолилметан (сухой экстракт брокколи) - стабильная форма индола, который метаболизируется в желудке в течение первых минут контакта с желудочным соком. Таким образом, 3,3-дииндолилметан обеспечивает основные эффекты индола (индол-З-карбинола) в сохранении здоровья женской репродуктивной системы (молочная железа, эндометрий, миометрий, шейка матки, яичники).
Снижение болезненности молочных желез у пациенток с циклической масталгией на фоне приема 3,3-дииндолилметана подтверждена в результате клинических исследований.
Область применения
Фемодол рекомендован в качестве биологически активной добавки к пище, содержащей 3,3-дииндолилметан, для нормализации функционального состояния и предупреждения развития гиперпластических процессов в молочных железах, снижения уровня пролактина (за счет взаимодействия с дофаминовыми D2- рецепторами гипоталамуса). Способствует нормализации метаболизма эстрогенов. Имеет антипролиферативные и антиоксидантные свойства. Фемодол О рекомендуется употреблять при:
• циклической масталгии и мастодинии;
• для профилактики фиброзно-кистозной мастопатии и в составе комплексного лечения, а также для коррекции функциональных состояний молочных желез, детерминированных данной патологией.
