• dermatomycoses (with or without accompanying itching).

How to use

For external use.
Mizol® Evalar is applied once daily to the affected skin surface and adjacent areas (approximately 1 cm of healthy skin around the edges of the affected area) after thorough cleansing and drying. The duration of therapy for dermatomycoses is 2-4 weeks (if necessary, up to 8 weeks); for candidiasis, it is 4 weeks.
In cases of nail infections, Mizol® Evalar is applied twice daily to the affected nail. Before the first application, the affected part of the nail should be maximally removed with scissors or a nail file. The duration of therapy for onychomycosis is up to 6 months.
To prevent recurrence, treatment should be continued for at least 2 weeks after the clinical symptoms have disappeared.
If there is no improvement after treatment or new symptoms appear, it is necessary to consult a doctor. Use the product only according to the method of application and in the doses specified in the instructions. If necessary, please consult a doctor before using the medication.

Мизол® Эвалар наносят 1 раз в день на пораженную поверхность кожи и соседние с ней участки (приблизительно 1 см здорового участка кожи по краям зоны поражения) после их тщательной очистки и высушивания. Длительность терапии при дерматомикозах - 2-4 недели (при необходимости - до 8 недель), при кандидозах - 4 недели.
При поражении ногтей Мизол® Эвалар наносят 2 раза в день на пораженный ноготь. Перед первым применением препарата максимально удаляют пораженную часть ногтя ножницами или пилкой для ногтей. Длительность терапии при онихомикозах - до 6 месяцев.
Для предотвращения рецидива лечение следует продолжить в течение минимум 2 недель после исчезновения клинических симптомов.
Если после лечения улучшения не наступает или появляются новые симптомы, необходимо проконсультироваться с врачом. Применяйте препарат только согласно тому способу применения и в тех дозах, которые указаны в инструкции. В случае необходимости, пожалуйста, проконсультируйтесь с врачом перед применением лекарственного препарата.

Active ingredient: naftifine hydrochloride – 10.00 mg
Excipients: propylene glycol – 50.00 mg; ethanol (ethyl alcohol) 95% – 400.00 mg; purified water – 475.00 mg.

A clear colorless or almost colorless solution with an ethanol odor.

Side effects, overdose & interactions

In some cases, local reactions may occur: skin dryness, skin hyperemia, and burning sensation. The side effects are reversible and do not require discontinuation of treatment.
If you experience side effects listed in the instructions or if they worsen, or if you notice any other side effects not listed in the instructions, inform your doctor.

When using the medication according to the instructions for use, overdose is unlikely. In case of accidental ingestion, gastric lavage and symptomatic therapy are indicated.

Interaction with other medicinal products has not been studied.

Pharmacology

Naftifine is an antifungal agent for external use, belonging to the class of allylamines. Its mechanism of action is associated with the inhibition of squalene-2,3-epoxidase, leading to a decrease in the formation of ergosterol, a component of the fungal cell wall. It is active against dermatophytes such as Trichophyton, Epidermophyton, and Microsporum; molds (Aspergillus spp.); yeast fungi (Candida spp., Pityrosporum); and other fungi (e.g., Sporothrix schenckii). Naftifine exhibits fungicidal activity against dermatophytes and Aspergillus. For yeast fungi, the drug shows either fungicidal or fungistatic activity depending on the strain of the microorganism. It possesses antibacterial activity against both gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms that can cause secondary bacterial infections. It has anti-inflammatory properties that contribute to the rapid resolution of inflammation symptoms, particularly itching.

When applied externally, naftifine quickly penetrates the skin, creating sustained antifungal concentrations in various layers, which allows for its use once a day.

Нафтифин - противогрибковое средство для наружного применения, относящееся к классу аллиламинов. Механизм действия связан с ингибированием сквален-2,3-эпоксидазы, что приводит к снижению образования эргостерола, входящего в состав клеточной стенки гриба. Активен в отношении дерматофитов, таких как трихофитон, эпидермофитон и микроспорум, плесеней (Aspergillus spp.), дрожжевых грибов (Candida spp., Pityrosporum) и других грибов (например, Sporothrix schenckii). В отношении дерматофитов и аспергилл нафтифин действует фунгицидно. В отношении дрожжевых грибов препарат проявляет фунгицидную или фунгистатическую активность в зависимости от штамма микроорганизма. Обладает антибактериальной активностью в отношении грамположительных и грамотрицательных микроорганизмов, которые могут вызвать вторичные бактериальные инфекции. Обладает противовоспалительным действием, которое способствует быстрому исчезновению симптомов воспаления, особенно зуда.

При наружном применении нафтифин быстро проникает в кожу, создавая устойчивые противогрибковые концентрации в различных ее слоях, что делает возможным его применение один раз в день.

Mizol Evalar is a medicinal product - a solution for external use. It has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and wound-healing properties. It is used for the treatment of fungal infections, tinea versicolor; dermatomycoses (with or without accompanying itching). The solution is applied locally to the affected areas of the skin up to 2 times a day. It is recommended to use only after consulting a doctor. Bottle size - 10 ml.
