Four coffee aromas can be distinguished: roasted bean, ground coffee, foam aroma, and liquid aroma. Ground coffee has the strongest scent. All share the characteristic of being astringent, sharp, pleasant, and an antidepressant, actively combating stress states and negative moods. In indoor spaces, it serves as a repellent against flies and other insects; a session of coffee aroma acts as an air freshener, filling the room with a refreshing and invigorating scent.
