How to use

FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY! The ointment is applied to the skin of the painful areas once a day, 5 to 10 g (1-2 teaspoons of ointment) in portions, and rubbed into the skin; in case of severe pain, it can be applied twice a day until the pain syndrome disappears. The treatment course should not exceed 10 days without consulting a doctor. After applying the ointment, hands must be thoroughly washed to avoid contact with the eyes and other mucous membranes.

НАРУЖНО! Мазь наносят на кожу болезненных участков 1 раз в сутки от 5 до 10 г (1-2 чайные ложки мази) по частям и втирают в кожу, при сильных болевых ощущениях - 2 раза в сутки до исчезновения болевого синдрома. Курс лечения не должен превышать 10 дней без консультации с врачом. После применения мази необходимо тщательно вымыть руки, чтобы избежать попадания мази в глаза и на другие слизистые оболочки.

Composition

Common cobra venom dry 12 MED (mouse units of action), methyl salicylate 4 g, camphor 3 g, eucalyptus oil 2 g (equivalent to 1.4 g of cineole).
Excipients: petroleum jelly 81 g, beeswax 10 g.

яд кобры обыкновенный сухой 12 МЕД (мышиных единиц действия), метилсалицилат 4 г, камфора 3 г, масло эвкалиптовое 2 г (эквивалент 1,4 г цинеола).
Вспомогательные вещества: вазелин 81 г, воск пчелиный 10 г.

Contraindications & warnings

Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug; skin diseases and mechanical damage to the skin at the application sites; active pulmonary tuberculosis; febrile conditions; general exhaustion; severe insufficiency of cerebral and coronary circulation; tendency to angiospasm; pronounced liver and kidney dysfunction; pregnancy and breastfeeding period.

The use of the medication in children is not recommended without consulting a doctor. Avoid contact of the ointment with open wounds and mucous membranes. In case of accidental contact of the ointment with the mucous membranes of the eyes, rinse them with plenty of water.

Повышенная индивидуальная чувствительность к компонентам препарата, заболевания кожи и механическое повреждение кожных покровов в местах нанесения мази, активный туберкулез легких, лихорадочные состояния, общее истощение, выраженная недостаточность мозгового и коронарного кровообращения, склонность к ангиоспазмам, выраженные нарушения функции печени и почек, беременность и период грудного вскармливания.

Не рекомендуется применять препарат в детском возрасте без консультации врача. Следует избегать попадания мази на открытые раны и слизистые оболочки. В случае неосторожного попадания мази на слизистые оболочки глаз, их необходимо промыть обильным количеством воды.

Side effects, overdose & interactions

In rare cases, allergic reactions may occur on the skin (redness, itching, rashes), which disappear after discontinuation of the medication! If any side effects occur, discontinue use of the medication and consult a doctor.

Pharmacology

The NAYATOX ointment has local irritant and analgesic (distraction) effects. Irritation of the sensitive skin receptors and absorption of highly active substances (histamine, enzymes, organic acids, etc.) contribute to vasodilation, improve the trophism of the underlying tissues, and determine the analgesic effect of the preparation.

Мазь НАЯТОКС обладает местнораздражающим и обезболивающим (отвлекающим) действием. Раздражение чувствительных рецепторов кожи и всасывание высокоактивных веществ (гистамин, ферменты, органические кислоты и т.д.) способствуют расширению сосудов, улучшению трофики подлежащих тканей и определяет болеутоляющее действие препарата.
