Composition

1 ml of solution contains 200 mg human albumin.

Indications

Burns, Bleeding

Reducing the concentration of albumin in plasma less than 30 g / l or colloid oncotic pressure of less than 15 mmHg, or a decrease in total protein at least 50 g / l:

hypoalbuminemia various genesis – shock (hemorrhagic, traumatic, thermal), acute blood loss (decrease in CBV more than 25-30%), suppurative septic conditions, liver disease with impaired albuminsinteziruyuschey, renal diseases (nephritis, nephritic syndrome), burn disease ;

operation using cardiopulmonary bypass;

therapeutic plasmapheresis;

Contraindications

Arterial hypertension and severe heart failure.

Side effects

In previously sensitized individual patients may cause allergic reactions of varying severity.

Interaction

With simultaneous use of albumin with ACE inhibitors increases the risk of hypotension.

Overdose

In overdose or too rapid administration of the drug can occur hypervolemia phenomena (development of pulmonary edema, increased blood and central venous pressure).

When the initial signs of anaphylactic reactions or overdose symptoms (headache, dyspnea, suffocation) albumin transfusion must stop immediately and without removing the needle from the vein, enter the appropriate drugs (corticosteroids, pressor agents if indicated).
