AKVION Cordyceps contributes to an increase in endurance and strengthens the body's defenses. This action is explained by the properties of the active components – extract of Chinese cordyceps, arabinogalactan, and extract of Chinese schisandra.
• Chinese cordyceps (Cordyceps sinensis) – one of the most popular ingredients in traditional Chinese medicine, as the extract of the fruiting body contains over 200 bioactive compounds, including polysaccharides with antioxidant properties. Cordyceps extract is a natural immunomodulator (capable of enhancing macrophage phagocytosis; stimulates cytokine release) and reduces inflammation.
• Arabinogalactan (active substance from Siberian larch) has immunomodulating effects (stimulates the activity of natural killer cells, cytokines, and macrophages). It also possesses prebiotic properties: supports the growth of beneficial microorganisms and increases the formation of short-chain fatty acids, which are extremely important for the normal functioning of the intestines.
• Chinese schisandra (Schisandra chinensis) contains schisandrin, which has adaptogenic, general tonic, and psychostimulatory effects, as well as increasing performance and reducing fatigue during physical and mental exertion.
