How to use
Orally, after meals, 1-2 tablets 3-4 times a day for 3-4 weeks; during exacerbation - 1 tablet 2-3 times a day for 1-2 months.
Repeat courses are conducted with an interval of 3 months.

Composition
Each tablet contains:
active ingredients: dry bile - 80 mg, dried garlic - 40 mg, nettle leaves - 5 mg, activated charcoal - 25 mg;
excipients: magnesium oxide - 12.1 mg, potato starch - 41.5 mg, talc - 3.5 mg, colloidal silicon dioxide - 0.8 mg, calcium stearate - 2.1 mg;
coating composition: sucrose - 128.7 mg, magnesium hydroxicarbonate - 73.81 mg, colloidal silicon dioxide - 2.77 mg, titanium dioxide - 2.77 mg, copovidone - 1.82 mg, yellow quinoline dye E-104 - 0.0476 mg, sunset yellow dye E-110 - 0.0024 mg, beeswax - 0.08 mg.
Coated tablets, light yellow in color, biconvex, with a specific odor. Three layers are visible in a cross-section.

вспомогательные вещества: магния оксид - 12,1 мг, крахмал картофельный - 41,5 мг, тальк - 3,5 мг, кремния диоксид коллоидный - 0,8 мг, кальция стеарат - 2,1 мг; состав оболочки: сахароза - 128,7 мг, магния гидроксикарбонат - 73,81 мг, кремния диоксид коллоидный - 2,77 мг, титана диоксид - 2,77 мг, коповидон - 1,82 мг, краситель хинолиновый желтый Е-104 - 0,0476 мг, краситель солнечный закат желтый Е-110 - 0,0024 мг, воск пчелиный - 0,08 мг.
Таблетки, покрытые оболочкой, светло-желтого цвета, двояковыпуклые, со специфическим запахом. На поперечном разрезе видны три слоя.
Contraindications & warnings
Hypersensitivity, calculous cholecystitis, obstructive jaundice, acute hepatitis, acute and subacute liver dystrophy, peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum, acute pancreatitis.

Side effects, overdose & interactions
Diarrhea; allergic reactions.
There have been no reported cases of overdose with the use of Allochol to date.
In cases of intentional ingestion of the drug in high doses, or prolonged use in doses exceeding the maximum daily dose, the following symptoms may occur: diarrhea, nausea, skin itching, elevated levels of transaminases in the blood.
Treatment: discontinuation of the drug, symptomatic therapy, no specific antidote available.
No negative manifestations of Allochol use in conjunction with other medications have been reported to date.
Medications containing aluminum hydroxide, cholestyramine, and colestipol reduce absorption (and decrease effectiveness) - simultaneous use is not advisable.

Диарея, аллергические реакции.
О случаях передозировки при применении Аллохола до настоящего времени не сообщалось.
При преднамеренном приеме препарата в высоких дозах, либо при длительном применении в дозах, превышающих максимальную суточную дозу, возможны следующие симптомы: диарея, тошнота, кожный зуд, повышение уровня трансаминаз в крови.
Лечение: отмена препарата, симптоматическая терапия, специфического антидота нет.
Негативных проявлений при применении Аллохола на фоне терапии другими лекарственными препаратами до настоящего времени не описано.
Препараты, содержащие гидроксид алюминия, холестирамин, холестипол снижают абсорбцию (и уменьшают эффект) - одновременный прием нецелесообразен.
Pharmacology
Choleretic (cholekinetic and choleretic) agent, reduces putrefactive and fermentative processes in the intestine. Enhances the secretory function of liver cells, reflexively increases the secretory and motor activity of the gastrointestinal tract organs.
Allochol is well absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract. Cholic and chenodeoxycholic acids contained in Allochol undergo 7α-dehydroxylation in the intestine. Chenodeoxycholic acid, in addition, is metabolized in the liver: it conjugates with amino acids, is secreted into bile, from where it is released back into the intestine, and then partially reabsorbed; the remaining portion is excreted in the feces.

Желчегонное (холекинетическое и холеретическое) средство, снижает процессы гниения и брожения в кишечнике. Усиливает секреторную функцию клеток печени, рефлекторно повышает секреторную и двигательную активность органов желудочно-кишечного тракта.
Аллохол хорошо всасывается в желудочно-кишечном тракте. Холевая и хенодезоксихолевая кислоты, содержащиеся в Аллохоле, подвергаются 7α-дегидроксилированию в кишечнике. Хенодезоксихолевая кислота, кроме того, подвергается метаболизму в печени: конъюгирует с аминокислотами, секретируется в желчь, откуда вновь выделяется в кишечник, затем частично реабсорбируется; остальная часть выводится с фекалиями.
