Alpha Rubber Ribbed Tourniquet with Loop Fastener

for use in arterial bleeding from the upper and lower extremities, in compression syndrome as protective tourniquets, in pulmonary edema - as tourniquet bandages for "bloodless surgery."

Usage
Before use, the tourniquet should be wiped with a gauze pad moistened with a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution mixed with a 0.5% detergent (Lotos, etc.), then rinsed with running water.
Purpose - to temporarily stop bleeding until qualified medical assistance is provided.
Technique:
1. Place the tourniquet around the injured limb above the wound and stretch it with maximum force.
2. Press the first turn of the tourniquet and ensure there is no pulse on the radial artery.
3. Apply subsequent turns of the tourniquet with less force.
4. Wrap the loop-fastener around the tourniquet.
5. Pull the loop and tuck it under the free end of the tourniquet.
6. Place a note indicating the time the tourniquet was applied under the rubber band of the loop.
WARNING!!! It is unacceptable to apply the tourniquet to the limb below the site of bleeding.

The "Alpha" tourniquet must be resistant to multiple disinfections with a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution (GOST 177) with 0.5% detergent in accordance with MU 287-113.
Tourniquets packaged according to the requirements of TU should be stored in a closed storage facility under storage conditions group I (l) GOST 15150 at a temperature from 0 to plus 25°C and relative humidity not exceeding 80% at a distance of at least 1 m from heating appliances.
During transportation and storage, the tourniquets should not be exposed to direct sunlight, oils, solvents, acids, alkalis, and other substances that destroy rubber.
Disposal
The disposal of the "Alpha" tourniquet after use must be carried out in accordance with the instructions in effect at the medical institution and developed in accordance with SanPin 2.1.7.2790-10 "Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the handling of medical waste" for class B waste after disinfection according to MU 287-113.
Unused "Alpha" tourniquets after the expiration date are classified as class A medical waste and should be disposed of as household waste.

The cord (loop) for the tourniquet can be of any color.
The surface of the tourniquet must not have any protruding inclusions.
