Ambene Bio Injection Solution 1 ml Ampoules 10 pcs.

AMBENE® Bio is used in adults for primary and secondary osteoarthritis of various locations (coxarthrosis, gonarthrosis, osteoarthritis of small joints), osteochondrosis, and spondylosis.

In cases of polyosteoarthritis and osteochondrosis, the drug is administered deep intramuscularly:
1 ml per day, with a treatment course of 20 injections (1 injection per day for 20 days)
or
2 ml every other day, with a treatment course of 10 injections (1 injection every other day for 20 days).
In cases of predominant involvement of large joints, the drug is administered intra-articularly at 1-2 ml into each joint with an interval of 3-4 days. A total of 5-6 injections per joint for the course.
Combination of intra-articular and intramuscular administration methods is possible.
It is advisable to repeat the treatment course after 6 months following a consultation with a physician.

Composition per 1 ml:
Bioactive extract from small marine fish - 1.0 ml
includes:
Active ingredient: concentrated extract from small marine fish - 0.1 g/ml
Excipients: phenol - up to 0.005 g/ml; water for injections up to 1.0 ml

Colorless or light yellow to light brownish-yellow liquid.

Increased sensitivity to the components of the drug.
Pregnancy and lactation period.
Pediatric age.

The use of the drug is not recommended in adolescence due to the lack of scientific clinical data in this category of patients.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
AMBENE ® Bio is contraindicated during pregnancy. If the drug is necessary during lactation, breastfeeding should be discontinued.

In case of individual intolerance to seafood (marine fish), the risk of allergic reactions increases.
Effect on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery
There is no data on the adverse effects of the drug on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery.

The frequency of the side effects listed below was determined according to the following scale: very common (>1/10), common (>1/100, ≤1/10), uncommon (>1/1000, ≤1/100), rare (>1/10000, ≤1/1000), very rare (≤1/10000).
Allergic reactions: rare - itching; very rare - anaphylactic reactions.
Local: rare - skin redness and a burning sensation at the injection site.
Other: transient myalgias. In some cases, intra-articular injections may lead to a temporary exacerbation of pain syndrome.

In case of overdose, allergic reactions (sometimes severe) may occur in predisposed patients.

AMBENE® Bio is a chondroprotective agent, with the active component being a bioactive extract from small marine fish. The extract contains mucopolysaccharides (chondroitin sulfate), amino acids, peptides, and ions of sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, copper, and zinc.
AMBENE® Bio prevents the destruction of macromolecular structures in normal tissues, stimulates recovery processes in the interstitial tissue and articular cartilage, which explains its analgesic effect.
The anti-inflammatory action and tissue regeneration are based on the inhibition of hyaluronidase activity and the normalization of hyaluronic acid biosynthesis. Both of these effects are synergistic and lead to the activation of restorative processes in tissues (in particular, the restoration of cartilage structure).
