How to use
For external use.
Apply 2-3 times a day to the skin over the affected area and rub in for 2-3 minutes until fully absorbed. Treatment course - 2-3 weeks. If necessary, the treatment course may be repeated.

Composition
Composition per 100 g of ointment:
Active ingredient: sodium chondroitin sulfate, calculated as dry substance – 5.0 g.
Excipients: petroleum jelly – 50.0 g; lanolin – 15.0 g; dimethyl sulfoxide – 10.0 g; purified water – up to 100.0 g.
Light yellow ointment with a characteristic odor.

Действующее вещество: хондроитина сульфат натрия в пересчете на сухое вещество – 5,0 г.
Вспомогательные вещества: вазелин – 50,0 г; ланолин – 15,0 г; диметилсульфоксид – 10,0 г; вода очищенная – до 100,0 г.
Мазь светло-желтого цвета с характерным запахом.
Contraindications & warnings
Hypersensitivity to the active substance and/or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Disruption of the integrity of the skin at the sites of intended application.
Do not use the Arthrafik® product without consulting a doctor during pregnancy, lactation, and in individuals under 18 years of age.
Avoid contact of the Arthrafik® product with mucous membranes and open wounds.
Excipients
The Arthrafik® product contains dimethyl sulfoxide, which may irritate the skin, and lanolin, which may cause local skin reactions (e.g., contact dermatitis).

Pharmacology
Chondroitin stimulates regenerative processes and normalizes metabolic activity in joint cartilage, providing analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects, and slows the progression of osteoarthritis and osteochondrosis.
Chondroitin contains the natural component chondroitin sulfate (a high molecular weight mucopolysaccharide) derived from bovine tissues. Chondroitin sulfate improves phosphorus-calcium metabolism in cartilage tissue, accelerates its repair processes, inhibits degeneration (destruction) of cartilage tissue; prevents the collapse of connective tissue; inhibits enzymes that cause damage to cartilage tissue, stimulates the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans, promotes the regeneration (restoration) of the joint capsule and cartilage surfaces of the joints, and increases the production of synovial fluid. This results in reduced pain and increased mobility of the affected joints.
According to data obtained from experimental studies on mice using radiolabeled 3H-chondroitin sulfate, the absorption rate of chondroitin sulfate is 14%. Chondroitin sulfate, after application of the ointment to the skin, enters the joint, reaching maximum concentration within 30 minutes, followed by a biphasic elimination of the drug from the cartilage tissue. The completion of the rapid elimination phase occurs 1 hour after application. The retention time of the drug in the joint is 5 hours.

Хондроитин стимулирует регенерационные (восстановительные) процессы и нормализует обмен веществ в суставном хряще, оказывает анальгезирующее и противовоспалительное действие, замедляет прогрессирование остеоартроза и остеохондроза.
Хондроитин содержит натуральный компонент хондроитина сульфат (высокомолекулярный мукополисахарид), получаемый из тканей крупного рогатого скота. Хондроитина сульфат улучшает фосфорно-кальциевый обмен в хрящевой ткани, ускоряет процессы ее репарации, тормозит процессы дегенерации (разрушения) хрящевой ткани; препятствует коллапсу соединительной ткани; ингибирует ферменты, вызывающие повреждение хрящевой ткани, стимулирует синтез глюкозаминогликанов, способствует регенерации (восстановлению) суставной сумки и хрящевых поверхностей суставов, увеличивает продукцию внутрисуставной жидкости. Это приводит к уменьшению болезненности и увеличению подвижности пораженных суставов.
В соответствии с данными, полученными в экспериментальных исследованиях на мышах с использованием радиомеченого 3Н-хондроитина сульфата, показатель всасываемости хондроитина сульфата составляет 14 %. Хондроитина сульфат после нанесения мази на кожу поступает в сустав с достижением максимальной концентрации через 30 минут и последующим двухфазным выведением препарата из хрящевой ткани. Завершение быстрой фазы выведения происходит через 1 час после применения. Время удержания препарата в суставе составляет 5 часов.
Показания к применению
