• diarrhea caused by acute and exacerbation of chronic gastroenteritis, rotavirus infection; antibiotic-associated diarrhea; traveler's diarrhea;

• as part of combination therapy for acute intestinal infections;

• as part of combination therapy for chronic gastrointestinal diseases, such as colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, and other functional gastrointestinal disorders;

• normalization of intestinal microflora, treatment and prevention of dysbiosis, and support of the immune system in children over 2 years old and adults;

• lactose intolerance;

• as part of standard combination eradication therapy in patients with Helicobacter infection.

In cases of acute diarrhea, the medication should be taken at a dose of 1 capsule 4 times a day until stool normalization. Then, continue taking the medication at a dose of 2-3 capsules per day until complete symptom resolution.
To normalize intestinal microflora and support the immune system, the medication is prescribed at a dose of 2-3 capsules per day for 10-21 days.
Patients with lactose intolerance are recommended to take the medication at a dose of 1 capsule 3 times a day.
During eradication therapy, Bifiform is prescribed at a dose of 2 capsules 2 times a day for two weeks starting from the first day of eradication therapy.
For children aged 2 years and older, 1 capsule 2-3 times a day.
The duration of administration may be adjusted based on the physician's recommendation.
When prescribed to children and patients who cannot swallow a whole capsule, it should be carefully broken, and the contents should be gently emptied into a spoon and mixed with a small amount of liquid, avoiding any loss.

Active ingredients:
Enterococcus faecium - not less than 1x10⁷ CFU
Bifidobacterium longum - not less than 1x10⁷ CFU
Excipients:
anhydrous dextrose 162.5 mg, yeast starter 17.5 mg, carob bean gum 12.5 mg, magnesium stearate 2.5 mg, lactulose 0.5 mg.
Composition of the capsule shell:
gelatin 48.0 mg, titanium dioxide (0.96 mg)*, magnesium stearate 0.5 mg, methacrylic acid and methyl methacrylate copolymer [1:1] 2.2 mg, methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate copolymer [1:1] [30% dispersion] 7.7 mg, talc 5.6 mg, polyethylene glycol 6000 1.5 mg, refined soybean oil 0.8 mg, diacetylated glycerides 0.3 mg.

• the mass of titanium dioxide is included in the total mass of the gelatin capsule.

Hard gelatin capsules, size 3, white or almost white in color. The contents of the capsule are a powder ranging from white to light yellow in color.

Effect on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery
The drug does not affect the ability to drive a car and operate machinery.

No adverse reactions have been identified when used at the recommended doses for the established indications.

Symptoms of overdose have not been previously reported. In the case of a significant excess of the recommended doses, medical supervision is advisable.

The drug can be used in combination with other medications. Concurrent administration with antibiotics is permitted.

Strains of Enterococcus faecium and Bifidobacterium longum included in the formulation are natural symbiotic bacteria that inhabit the gastrointestinal tract. The product has a normalizing effect on the quantitative and qualitative composition of intestinal microflora. The action is due to both the direct effect of the components of the product (high antagonistic activity against pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms) and the indirect effect - stimulation of the local intestinal immune response (activation of immunoglobulin A synthesis, induction of endogenous interferon synthesis).

Bifidobacterium longum has high survival rates in the human intestine and a rapid growth rate. The inclusion of the non-pathogenic enterococcus Enterococcus faecium, which normally colonizes the small intestine, allows for a positive impact on the condition and digestive functions of both the large and small intestines, especially in the presence of fermentative dyspepsia and symptoms of flatulence.

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
The use of the Bifiform product during pregnancy and lactation is considered safe, as the product is not absorbed and does not have a systemic effect.
