How to use
The medication is taken orally.
1-2 tablets daily. The dose may be increased to 3 tablets per day. Duration of treatment is from 5-10 days until the "flushes" disappear.
If symptoms recur, a repeat course of treatment should be conducted.
Since there is no habituation to the medication, treatment may be extended for the entire duration of vasomotor clinical disorders without limitation on its duration.

Препарат применяют внутрь.
По 1-2 таблетки ежедневно. Доза может быть увеличена до 3-х таблеток в день. Длительность лечения от 5-10 дней до исчезновения "приливов".
При возобновлении симптомов следует провести повторный курс лечения
В связи с тем, что привыкания к препарату не возникает, лечение может быть продлено на весь период вазомоторных клинических расстройств без ограничения его продолжительности.

Per tablet:
Active ingredient: beta-alanine - 400 mg.
Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose - 69.33 mg; potato starch - 26.55 mg; maltodextrin - 19.47 mg; colloidal silicon dioxide - 11.00 mg; talc - 11.00 mg; sodium croscarmellose - 8.25 mg; calcium stearate - 4.40 mg.
Tablets are round, biconvex, white or almost white in color. Marbling on the surface of the tablets is permissible.

Contraindications & warnings

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding:
The preparation is not intended for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
It is recommended to consult a doctor before starting the medication.
There is no habituation to the medication; the treatment course may be prescribed for the entire duration of vasomotor clinical disorders.
Effect on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery:
The use of the medication does not affect the ability to perform potentially hazardous activities that require increased attention and quick psychomotor reactions (driving vehicles, working with moving machinery, dispatcher work, operator work, etc.).

Side effects, overdose & interactions
Very rare: skin allergic reactions (itching, rash)
Very rare: transient paresthesias, usually in the extremities.
No cases of overdose of the drug have been reported.
In the event of an overdose, provide symptomatic treatment.
No clinically significant interactions of the drug with other medications have been identified.

Pharmacology
Beta-alanine is an amino acid. It counteracts the sharp release of histamine but does not possess antihistaminic activity due to the lack of H1-receptor blockade.
Beta-alanine has a direct effect on peripheral cutaneous vasodilation, which causes vegetative "flushes," sensations of warmth, heat, and headaches. At a physiological level, vasomotor "flushes" are caused by the activity of thermoregulatory centers in the hypothalamus, leading to peripheral cutaneous vasodilation. This is a consequence of reactions occurring due to the imbalance of cerebral neurotransmitters that occurs after the cessation of hormone secretion by the ovaries. The drug promotes the saturation of peripheral neurotransmitter receptors involved in this process.

Бета-аланин имеет прямое воздействие на кожную периферическую вазодилатацию, которая обусловливает вегетативные "приливы", ощущение тепла, жара, головную боль. На физиологическом уровне вазомоторные "приливы" обусловлены активностью терморегуляторных центров в гипоталамусе, приводящей к периферической кожной вазодилатации. Это следствие реакций, происходящих при нарушении баланса церебральных нейротрансмиттеров, наступающем после прекращения секреции гормонов яичниками. Препарат способствует насыщению периферических рецепторов нейротрансмиттеров, которые участвуют в этом процессе.

Ci-Klim Alanine is a non-hormonal medication based on the amino acid beta-alanine in a therapeutic dosage of 400 mg for the relief of hot flashes during the climacteric period.
Beta-alanine can prevent the onset of hot flashes and, with prolonged use, reduces their frequency and intensity.
