DIGESTOL is prescribed in the I phase of the wound healing process as a necrolytic and anti-inflammatory agent that promotes wound cleansing. Following aseptic rules, open the package of the "Biological Dressing DIGESTOL" of the required size, trim the edges to match the shape of the wound, and apply it to the wound surface; if there is a wound cavity, loosely pack it. Place a sterile gauze pad on top and secure it in the usual manner (with a bandage, adhesive tape, etc.). The first dressing change is usually performed the following day. Subsequently, change the dressing as the sponge is absorbed.
Local treatment of wounds (ulcers, burns, etc.) with DIGESTOL is carried out in conjunction with other necessary general and local therapy measures.
