Appearance: Round, flat-cylindrical or biconvex tablets, from light beige to white in color, with a characteristic odor.
Oyster Calcium Citrate consists of calcium citrate obtained from the processing of oyster shells.
Calcium is essential for bone formation, healthy gums and skin, stimulates the activity of hormones and enzymes, ensures normal sleep, and lowers blood pressure. It plays an important role in heart function and the transmission of nerve impulses. Calcium is involved in muscle growth, muscle contraction processes, prevents cramps, and reduces the risk of malignant diseases. Oyster calcium is necessary during childhood, adolescence, and for individuals over 50 years of age.
Calcium intake is especially important during menopause and for the prevention of osteoporosis.
The bioavailability of calcium citrate is 2.5 times higher than that of calcium carbonate. Its absorption rate is 45%. Thus, more elemental calcium is absorbed from citrate than from carbonate.
Calcium citrate aids in the absorption of vitamins D3, C, and important trace elements that are consistently present in oyster shells.
It is absorbed regardless of food intake and gastric acidity, as its dissolution and absorption do not require hydrochloric acid.
When consuming the dietary supplement in the recommended amount, the body will receive: calcium 300 mg - 30% of the recommended daily intake, vitamin D3 7.5 mcg - 150% of the recommended daily intake (but does not exceed the upper tolerable intake level per day).

Устричный Кальция цитрат состоит из лимоннокислого кальция, получаемого в результате переработки раковин устриц.
Кальций жизненно необходим для формирования костей, здорового состояния десен и кожи, а также он стимулирует активность гормонов и ферментов, обеспечивает нормальный сон, снижает давление. Он играет важную роль в процессах деятельности сердца и передачи нервных импульсов. Кальций участвует в наращивании мышц, в процессах мышечного сокращения, предотвращает судороги, уменьшает риск развития злокачественных заболеваний. Устричный кальций необходим в детском, подростковом возрасте, а также в возрасте старше 50 лет.
Особенно необходимо принимать кальций при климаксе и для профилактики остеопороза.
Биодоступность цитрата кальция в 2,5 раза выше, чем карбонатного кальция. Его усвоение составляет 45%. Таким образом, из цитрата в организм поступает больше элементарного кальция, чем из карбоната.
Цитрат кальция способствует усвоению витаминов D3, С и важных микроэлементов, неизменно присутствующих в раковинах устриц.
Усваивается вне зависимости от приема пищи и кислотности желудочного сока, т.к. его растворение и усвоение не требует соляной кислоты.
