How to use

Intravaginally. Before use, remove the suppository from the blister packaging.

Интравагинально. Перед применением суппозиторий освобождают от контурной упаковки.
Для лечения: по 1 суппозиторию 2 раза в сутки в течение 7-10 дней.
Для профилактики инфекций, передаваемых половым путем: 1 суппозиторий не позднее 2 часов после незащищенного полового акта.

Composition

1 suppository contains:
Active ingredient: chlorhexidine bigluconate solution 20% - 80 mg (calculated as chlorhexidine bigluconate - 16 mg).
Excipients: macrogol 1500 - 2299 mg, macrogol 400 - 121 mg.

Suppositories in a torpedo shape, white or white with a yellowish tint. Marbling of the surface is permissible.

Применение при беременности и в период грудного вскармливания
При беременности и в период грудного вскармливания хлоргексидин применяют только в случае, если предполагаемая польза для матери превышает потенциальный риск для плода и ребенка.
Перед применением препарата Гексимистин®, если Вы беременны, или предполагаете, что Вы могли бы быть беременной, или планируете беременность, необходимо проконсультироваться с врачом. В период грудного вскармливания необходимо проконсультироваться с врачом.

Туалет наружных половых органов не влияет на эффективность и переносимость суппозиториев, так как препарат применяется интравагинально. После контакта с препаратом следует вымыть руки, во избежание возможного попадания хлоргексидина в глаза.
Препарат предназначен для интравагинального применения у взрослых. При появлении аллергических реакций или раздражения в месте введения препарата лечение прекращают. При применении препарата возможно увеличение количества выделений из влагалища. Как правило, при небольшом количестве прозрачных выделений лечение препаратом можно не прерывать. При появлении сукровичных выделений рекомендуется прекратить применение препарата и проконсультироваться с врачом. Для предотвращения инфицирования необходимо одновременное лечение половых партнеров. В период лечения бактериального вагиноза рекомендуется воздерживаться от половых контактов. Возможно применение препарата во время менструации, так как препарат сохраняет свою активность, хотя и несколько пониженную, в присутствии крови, гноя и других биологических жидкостей.

Влияние на способность управлять транспортными средствами и механизмами

Chlorhexidine is a topical antiseptic agent, active against protozoa, gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, viruses, including Treponema pallidum, Chlamydia spp., Ureaplasma spp., Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Trichomonas vaginalis, Gardnerella vaginalis, Bacteroides fragilis, and Herpes simplex virus type 2. Some strains of Pseudomonas spp., Proteus spp., as well as acid-resistant forms of bacteria, bacterial spores, and fungi are weakly sensitive or resistant to the drug. Chlorhexidine does not disrupt the functional activity of lactobacilli. It retains activity, although somewhat reduced, in the presence of blood, pus, and other biological fluids.

When administered intravaginally, it is practically not absorbed and does not have a systemic effect.
