Description and Properties
Improves cerebral and peripheral blood circulation, enhances microcirculation, possesses antioxidant, nootropic, psychostimulant, anti-hypoxic, anti-aggregatory properties, reduces capillary permeability, and has venotonic effects. Expands the blood vessels of the brain and increases the elasticity of their walls, regulates neurotransmitter metabolism in the brain, increases the absorption of oxygen and glucose by brain tissues, and raises ATP levels in the cerebral cortex. Reduces the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and their complications; prevents thrombosis, normalizes blood pressure, lowers cholesterol levels, contributes to improved vision and hearing, alleviates symptoms of depression. Reduces free radical processes and has a beneficial effect on the clinical characteristics of chronic vertebrobasilar insufficiency; good tolerance and absence of side effects when taking "Ginkgo Smart-24" produced by Irwin Naturals were confirmed in 2000 during clinical trials for the treatment of patients with vascular vestibulopathy against the background of chronic vertebrobasilar insufficiency.
