Glucose participates in carbohydrate metabolism.
It serves as an additional source of glucose and organic acids, beneficial in cases of hypoglycemia, carbohydrate intake deficiency, and during glucose tolerance testing.
The dietary supplement is well absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, distributed to all organs and tissues via the bloodstream, and its metabolic products are excreted in urine.
The glucose tolerance test allows for the detection of carbohydrate metabolism disorders.
