Профилактика и лечение гриппа и ОРВИ у детей и взрослых.

How to use

At the first signs of illness, Grippferon® is used for 5 days:

• for ages 0 to 1 year: 1 drop in each nostril 5 times a day (single dose 1000 IU, daily dose 5000 IU)

• for ages 1 to 3 years: 2 drops in each nostril 3-4 times a day (single dose 2000 IU, daily dose 6000-8000 IU)

• for ages 3 to 14 years: 2 drops in each nostril 4-5 times a day (single dose 2000 IU, daily dose 8000-10000 IU)

• for adults: 3 drops in each nostril 5-6 times a day (single dose 3000 IU, daily dose 15000-18000 IU).
For the prevention of ARVI and influenza:

• upon contact with an infected person and/or in case of hypothermia, the drug is instilled in the single age dose 2 times a day. If necessary, preventive courses are repeated;

• during seasonal increases in morbidity, the drug is instilled in the age dose once in the morning with an interval of 24-48 hours.
After each instillation, it is recommended to massage the wings of the nose with fingers for a few minutes to ensure even distribution of the drug in the nasal cavity.

При первых признаках заболевания Гриппферон® применяют в течение 5 дней:

• в возрасте от 0 до 1 года по 1 капле в каждый носовой ход 5 раз в день (разовая доза 1000 ME, суточная доза 5000 ME)

• в возрасте от 1 до 3 лет по 2 капли в каждый носовой ход 3-4 раза в день (разовая доза 2000 ME, суточная доза 6000-8000 ME)

• в возрасте от 3 до 14 лет по 2 капли в каждый носовой ход 4-5 раз в день (разовая доза 2000 ME, суточная доза 8000-10000 ME)

• взрослым по 3 капли в каждый носовой ход 5-6 раз в день (разовая доза 3000 ME, суточная доза 15000-18000 ME).
С целью профилактики ОРВИ и гриппа:

• при контакте с больным и/или при переохлаждении препарат закапывают в разовой возрастной дозе 2 раза в день. При необходимости профилактические курсы повторяют;

• при сезонном повышении заболеваемости препарат закапывают в возрастной дозе однократно утром с интервалом 24-48 часов.
После каждого закапывания рекомендуется помассировать пальцами крылья носа в течение нескольких минут для равномерного распределения препарата в носовой полости.

Composition

1 ml of the preparation contains:
Active ingredient: recombinant human interferon alpha-2b not less than 10,000 IU.
Excipients: disodium edetate dihydrate 0.5 mg, sodium chloride 4.1 mg, sodium phosphate dodecahydrate 11.94 mg, potassium dihydrogen phosphate 4.54 mg, povidone-8,000 10 mg, polyethylene glycol 4000 100 mg, purified water up to 1 ml.

Clear colorless or light yellow solution.

PREGNANCY AND LACTATION:

Grippferon® is approved for use throughout the entire pregnancy period according to the age dosage.

The simultaneous use of intranasal vasoconstrictors is not recommended due to the increased drying effect on the nasal mucosa.

Pharmacology

Description

Nasal drops "Grippferon" are a medication designed for the prevention and treatment of viral diseases of the upper respiratory tract, such as influenza, the common cold, and others. One of the main advantages of the medication is that it not only alleviates the symptoms of the disease but also boosts immunity, helping the body to fight it off independently.
