How to use

Pour 1 teaspoon of the mixture (2.0 g) with 1 cup (200 ml) of boiling water, steep for 10-15 minutes, strain, and bring the volume of the resulting infusion to 200 ml with boiled water. Adults and children over 14 years of age should take ½ cup once a day during meals. Duration of intake - 1 month. If necessary, the dietary supplement can be repeated.

Biologically active food supplement (BAFS)
The main active ingredient of peppermint is essential oil, which contains 41-65% menthol. When cold receptors are stimulated, superficial blood vessels constrict and the blood vessels of internal organs reflexively dilate. This likely explains the relief of pain caused by menthol in angina pectoris. Menthol also has a mild local anesthetic effect. By irritating the receptors of the gastric and intestinal mucosa, menthol enhances peristalsis, which is why it is also prescribed for gastrointestinal dysfunctions, spastic colitis, and enterocolitis. At the same time, it has antiseptic properties. The irritating and antiseptic effects of the essential oil limit the processes of decay and fermentation and enhance the secretion of digestive glands.
Menthol, found in peppermint leaves, has local analgesic, antispasmodic, and antiseptic properties, and causes reflex dilation of coronary vessels.
Indications: Infusion and decoction of peppermint are used for gastrointestinal spasms, heart pain, angina pectoris, hepatic colic, nausea, flatulence, increased excitability, insomnia; externally - for neuralgic pain, as an antiseptic for inflammatory processes, diseases of the upper respiratory tract, bronchitis, bronchiectasis, toothache.

Основным действующим веществом мяты перечной является эфирное масло, которое содержит 41-65% ментола. При возбуждении холодовых рецепторов суживаются поверхностные сосуды и рефлекторно расширяются сосуды внутренних органов. Этим, вероятно, объясняется облегчение болей под действием ментола при стенокардии. Ментол оказывает также легкое местноанестезирующее действие. Раздражая рецепторы слизистой оболочки желудка и кишечника, ментол вызывает усиление перистальтики, поэтому его назначают также при расстройстве функций желудочно-кишечного тракта, спастических колитах и энтероколитах. Вместе с тем он оказывает антисептическое действие. Раздражающее и антисептическое действие эфирного масла приводит к ограничению процессов гниения и брожения и усилению секреции пищеварительных желез.
Ментол, содержащийся в листьях мяты, обладает местнообезболивающим, спазмолитическим и антисептическим свойствами, вызывает рефлекторное расширение коронарных сосудов.
Применение: настой и отвар мяты перечной применяют при желудочно-кишечных спазмах, болях в сердце, стенокардии, печеночных коликах, тошноте, метеоризме, при повышенной возбудимости, бессоннице; наружно - при невралгических болях, как антисептическое средство при воспалительных процессах, заболеваниях верхних дыхательных путей, бронхите, бронхоэктазии, зубной боли.
