Indications

Inflammatory diseases of mucous membranes, purulent wounds, capillary bleeding from superficial wounds, nasal bleeding.
For disinfection and deodorization: stomatitis, angina, tonsillitis, gynecological diseases.

How to use

Method of application and doses

For external use, a 3% solution is used locally for rinsing the mouth and throat, and a 0.25% solution is applied to mucous membranes (the 3% solution is diluted with water in a ratio of 1:11). The undiluted solution is not used for treating mucous membranes.
Damaged areas of skin or mucous membranes are treated with a cotton or gauze swab moistened with the solution of the drug. Swabs should be held with tweezers. Jet irrigation of the wound surface is possible.

Для наружного применения применяют 3 % раствор, местно - для полоскания рта и горла, нанесения на слизистые оболочки - 0,25 % раствор (3 % раствор разводят водой в соотношении 1:11). Неразбавленный раствор не применяют для обработки слизистых оболочек.
Поврежденные участки кожи или слизистой оболочки обрабатывают ватным или марлевым тампоном, смоченным раствором препарата. Тампоны следует держать пинцетом. Возможно струйное орошение раневой поверхности.

Excipients:
Sodium benzoate – 0.05 g
Purified water – up to 100 ml

With caution

Decompensated liver and kidney diseases, hyperthyroidism, herpetiform dermatitis.

Special instructions

It is not recommended to apply the medication under occlusive dressings.
Avoid contact with eyes!
Do not use for irrigating cavities!
Treating a wound with hydrogen peroxide solution does not guarantee protection against tetanus and other wound infections.

Overdose

No cases of overdose have been reported.

Interaction

Unstable in an alkaline environment, in the presence of metal salts, complex radicals of certain oxidants, as well as in light and heat.

Жжение в момент обработки пораженных участков кожи или слизистых оболочек, аллергические реакции.
Если любые из указанных в инструкции побочных эффектов усугубляются, или отмечаются любые другие побочные эффекты не указанные в инструкции, следует немедленно сообщить об этом врачу.

Случаев передозировки не зарегистрировано.

Нестабилен в щелочной среде, в присутствии солей металлов, сложных радикалов некоторых оксидантов, а также на свету и в тепле.

Section: Pharmacodynamics

Antiseptic agent from the group of oxidants. When hydrogen peroxide comes into contact with damaged skin or mucous membranes, active oxygen is released, leading to mechanical cleansing and inactivation of organic substances (proteins, blood, pus). The antiseptic action is not sterilizing; its use results in only a temporary reduction in the number of microorganisms. Abundant foaming promotes clot formation and stops bleeding from small vessels.

Антисептическое средство из группы оксидантов. При контакте перекиси водорода с поврежденной кожей или слизистыми оболочками высвобождается активный кислород, при этом происходит механическое очищение и инактивация органических веществ (белки, кровь, гной).
Антисептическое действие не является стерилизующим, при его применении происходит лишь временное уменьшение количества микроорганизмов.
Обильное пенообразование способствует тромбообразованию и остановке кровотечений из мелких сосудов.
