Pharmacology
Isla Moos contains an extract of the medicinal plant Cetraria islandica (Icelandic moss), which has been well known since ancient civilizations for its beneficial therapeutic effects in inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract.
Icelandic moss primarily contains carbohydrates (up to 80%), which dissolve when extracted with hot water, forming a thick gelatinous mass.
Its composition includes lichenin, sugars (glucose, galactose, etc.).
Additionally, it contains naphthoquinone, the bitter substance cetrarin, lichen acids, proteins, vitamins C and B12, fats, wax, gums, pigments, and usnic acid, which has strong antibiotic properties.
The content of glucuronic acid in one lozenge is 75.2 mg (15% of the adequate daily intake level).
Nutritional value per 100 g: carbohydrates - 42.4 g.
Energy value: 1 lozenge (1 g) - 1.7 kcal // 7.2 kJ; 100 g - 170 kcal // 722 kJ.

Исландский мох содержит, главным образом, углеводы (до 80 %), которые растворяются при извлечении горячей водой, образуя густую киселеобразную массу.
В их составе лихенин, сахара (глюкоза, галактоза и др.).
Кроме того, содержится нафтохинон, горькое вещество цетрарин, лишайниковые кислоты, белки, витамины С и В12, жиры, воск, камеди, пигменты, усниновая кислота, обладающая сильным антибиотическим действием.
