The drug is administered intravenously, intramuscularly, and subcutaneously.
For adults and children over 14 years old, it is administered subcutaneously, intramuscularly, and intravenously at a dose of 1-2 ml 1-3 times a day.
Maximum doses for adults subcutaneously: single dose - 2 ml, daily dose - 6 ml.
The maximum single dose subcutaneously and intravenously for adults is 5 ml.
For children, the following single doses are prescribed subcutaneously, depending on age: up to 1 year - 0.1 ml;
1-4 years - 0.15-0.25 ml;
5-6 years - 0.3 ml;
7-9 years - 0.5 ml;
10-14 years - 0.75 ml.
Administer 1-3 times a day.
For intravenous administration, the single dose of the drug is diluted in 10 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride solution; administer over 1-3 minutes.
Intravenous administration should be performed slowly.
Since subcutaneous and intramuscular injections of the drug Cordiamin are painful, to reduce pain, depending on the situation, 1 ml of 0.5% procaine (Novocain) is preliminarily injected at the site of the intended injection.

Active ingredient: nikethamide (diethylamide of nicotinic acid) - 250 mg.
Excipients: water for injections - up to 1 ml.

A clear, colorless solution or one with a slight yellowish or greenish tint, with a distinctive odor.

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
The drug is contraindicated during pregnancy. If the use of nicetamide is necessary during breastfeeding, the issue of discontinuing breastfeeding should be addressed.

Overdose of nicotinamide may cause seizures.

Disorders of the immune system: hypersensitivity reactions, including urticaria, angioedema, generalized papular rashes.
Disorders of the nervous system: anxiety, restlessness, increased irritability.
Disorders of the heart: arrhythmia, tachycardia.
Disorders of the vascular system: arterial hypertension.
Disorders of the gastrointestinal tract: nausea, vomiting.
Disorders of the skin and subcutaneous tissue: facial puffiness, facial hyperemia, skin itching, skin peeling, hyperthermia, increased sweating.
Disorders of the musculoskeletal and connective tissue: muscle contractions (starting with the circular muscles of the mouth), tremor, muscle rigidity.
General disorders and injection site reactions: infiltration, tenderness, hyperemia, itching, burning sensation of the skin at the injection site.

Symptoms: exacerbation of dose-dependent side effects, generalized tonic-clonic seizures, disturbances of consciousness and respiration, apnea during seizures, fatal outcome cannot be excluded.
Treatment: symptomatic (including anticonvulsant medications), forced diuresis. If necessary - controlled ventilation.

Enhances the effects of psychostimulants, antidepressants.
Reduces the action of narcotic analgesics, hypnotics, antipsychotics, and antiepileptic agents, anxiolytics.
Reduces the effectiveness of niketamide: aminosalicylic acid, opipramol, phenothiazine derivatives, and general anesthetics.
The convulsive action of the drug is enhanced by reserpine and aminazine.
The pressor effect of niketamide is increased under the influence of monoamine oxidase inhibitors.
Niketamide contributes to the development of intolerance to ftivazide.
Niketamide is ineffective in the context of deep anesthesia.

A mixed-action analeptic agent. The mechanism of action consists of two components: central and peripheral. The central mechanism is associated with the direct influence on the vasomotor center of the medulla oblongata, leading to its excitation and a mediated increase in systemic arterial pressure (especially in cases of initial depression of this center). The peripheral component of the mechanism of action is related to the excitation of the chemoreceptors of the carotid sinus, which results in an increase in the frequency and depth of respiratory movements. It does not have a direct effect on the cardiovascular system.

Absorption - high, independent of the route of administration. Undergoes rapid metabolism in the liver, resulting in the formation of inactive metabolites.
Excretion is primarily via the kidneys.
