Indications
The drug Lavomax® NEO is used as part of combination therapy in adults aged 18 and older for the treatment of:
• influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI);
• herpetic infection.
Additionally, Lavomax® NEO is used for the prevention of influenza and other ARVI in adults aged 18 and older.
If improvement does not occur within 4 days or if you feel worse, you should consult a doctor.

Препарат Лавомакс® НЕО применяется в составе комплексной терапии у взрослых от 18 лет для лечения:
• гриппа и других острых респираторных вирусных инфекций (ОРВИ);
• герпетической инфекции.
Также препарат Лавомакс® НЕО применяется для профилактики гриппа и других ОРВИ у взрослых от 18 лет.
Если улучшение не наступило в течение 4-х дней или Вы чувствуете ухудшение, необходимо обратиться к врачу.
How to use

Recommended dosage:
For the treatment of influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI)
1 tablet (125 mg) once daily on days 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 of treatment. A total of 6 tablets (750 mg) are required for the treatment course.
For the treatment of herpes infection
1 tablet (125 mg) once daily on days 1 and 2 of treatment, then 1 tablet (125 mg) once every other day (days 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 or more, depending on the duration of treatment). A total of 10-20 tablets (1.25-2.5 g) are required for the treatment course.
For the prevention of influenza and other ARVI
1 tablet (125 mg) once a week for 6 weeks. A total of 6 tablets (750 mg) are required for the prevention course.
In the case of persistent symptoms of the disease for more than 4 days during the treatment of influenza and other ARVI, consult a doctor.
Route and method of administration
The medication is taken orally, after meals.

Для лечения гриппа и других ОРВИ
По 1 таблетке (125 мг) 1 раз в сутки в 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 дни лечения. На курс лечения необходимо 6 таблеток (750 мг).
Для лечения герпетической инфекции
По 1 таблетке (125 мг) 1 раз в сутки в 1 и 2 дни лечения, затем по 1 таблетке (125 мг) 1 раз
в сутки через день (4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 дни лечения или более, в зависимости от продолжительности лечения).
На курс лечения необходимо 10-20 таблеток (1,25-2,5 г). Для профилактики гриппа и других ОРВИ
По 1 таблетке (125 мг) 1 раз в неделю в течение 6 недель. На курс профилактики необходимо 6 таблеток (750 мг).
При лечении гриппа и других ОРВИ в случае сохранения симптомов заболевания более 4-х дней следует проконсультироваться у врача.

Composition
The active ingredient is tilorone.
Each film-coated tablet contains 125 mg of tilorone dihydrochloride.
Other ingredients (excipients) include: potato starch, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone K30, sodium croscarmellose, calcium stearate; excipients (coating): polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide, macrogol 4000, quinoline yellow dye, sunset yellow dye (E110), iron oxide yellow dye, talc.
Round biconvex tablets coated with a yellow film. The core is orange in color when cut in cross-section.

Каждая таблетка, покрытая пленочной оболочкой, содержит 125 мг тилорона дигидрохлорида.
Прочими ингредиентами (вспомогательными веществами) являются: крахмал картофельный, целлюлоза микрокристаллическая, повидон К30, кроскармеллоза натрия, кальция стеарат; вспомогательные вещества (оболочка): поливиниловый спирт, титана диоксид, макрогол 4000, краситель хинолиновый желтый, краситель солнечный закат желтый (Е110), краситель железа оксид желтый, тальк.

Contraindications & warnings
Do not take Lavomax® NEO:
• if you are allergic to tilorone or any other components of the product (listed in section 6 of the leaflet).
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Before taking Lavomax® NEO, consult your healthcare provider or pharmacist.
Children and adolescents.
Lavomax® NEO is not intended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
Lavomax® NEO contains the dye Sunset Yellow FCF (E110).
The dye Sunset Yellow FCF (E110) may cause allergic reactions.

Side effects, overdose & interactions
Like all medications, this product may cause undesirable reactions; however, they do not occur in everyone. The following undesirable reactions may manifest differently in each individual patient and do not exclude the need for consultation with a physician:
• allergic reactions;
• brief chills;
• discomfort in the abdominal area, which may be accompanied by heartburn, nausea, belching, bloating, diarrhea (dyspeptic phenomena). Reporting undesirable reactions If you experience any undesirable reactions, consult a physician or pharmacy staff. This also includes any undesirable reactions not listed in the package insert. You may also report undesirable reactions directly (see below). By reporting undesirable reactions, you help gather more information about the safety of the product.
If you have taken more Lavomax® NEO than intended, inform your treating physician.
Inform your healthcare provider if you are taking, have recently taken, or may start taking any other medications, including over-the-counter drugs.
Lavamax® NEO can be taken together with antibiotics and other treatments for viral and bacterial diseases.

What is the drug Lavomax® NEO and what is it used for?
The drug Lavomax® NEO belongs to the group of medicinal products:
- systemic antiviral agents;
- direct-acting antiviral agents;
- other antiviral agents;
it is an antiviral immunostimulatory agent - an inducer of interferon production.
The active ingredient of the drug, tilorone, is a low-molecular-weight synthetic interferon inducer that stimulates the production of all types of interferons in the body (alpha, beta, gamma, and lambda). Tilorone has immunomodulatory and antiviral effects.
