LEKOLIKE IOD+SELEN - Dietary supplement (BAA) that helps eliminate dangerous micronutrient deficiencies and reduce the severity or halt iodine-dependent pathological processes in the thyroid gland.
Content in 1 tablet (daily dosage):
Iodine - 150 mcg (100%),
Selenium - 70 mcg (100%).

The thyroid gland is an important organ that synthesizes vital hormones necessary for all cells in the body. Its condition and the effectiveness of hormone action depend on overall health, quality, and longevity.
Iodine serves as a building block for thyroid hormones, which are rightly called "conductors of life." They are responsible for metabolism, influence brain activity, the nervous system, and the function of the reproductive and mammary glands. Without them, normal growth and development in children are impossible. Prolonged iodine deficiency leads to decreased thyroid function.
Preventing iodine deficiency is extremely important at all age periods and primarily involves eliminating iodine deficiency in the diet.
However, specialists agree that iodine alone is not sufficient. Additional selenium intake is necessary, as low levels of selenium are associated with impaired synthesis and metabolism of thyroid hormones. Therefore, additional selenium intake is considered the missing link for successful treatment and prevention of iodine deficiency.

Длительная нехватка йода приводит к снижению функции щитовидной железы.
Профилактика йодного дефицита крайне важна во все возрастные периоды и заключается прежде всего в ликвидации недостатка йода в питании.
Однако, специалисты сходятся во мнении, что в одиночку йод «в поле не воин». Необходим дополнительный прием селена, низкий уровень которого ассоциируется с нарушением синтеза и метаболизма гормонов щитовидной железы.
