Iodine 225 mcg
Iodine is an essential mineral necessary for the normal functioning of the body, but it cannot be produced by the body itself. Many people obtain the required amount of iodine from food; however, certain population groups need additional iodine-containing supplements.
Since the need for iodine is individual for each person, we decided to produce capsules not with 500-1000 mcg of the active substance, but with 225 mcg - this will allow for convenient portioning of the product and regulation of the prescribed dosage.
Benefits of additional iodine intake:
• Normalization of thyroid hormone production
The crucial role of iodine is to ensure the proper functioning of the thyroid gland. It helps regulate the production of thyroid hormones - thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3), which control the functioning of many cells in the body - growth of bones and nerves, as well as healthy metabolism of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. Adequate iodine intake is necessary to prevent hypothyroidism - a deficiency of thyroid hormones in the body, which can provoke a number of associated diseases.
• Additional support during pregnancy
Studies have shown that children born to women who did not receive sufficient iodine during pregnancy are more likely to lag in mental development and have a lower IQ than children born to mothers who received adequate iodine during pregnancy. Breastfeeding women also experience increased iodine needs, as they transfer a significant amount of nutrients from their bodies through breast milk.
• Normalization of cognitive functions
Iodine affects many brain structures that are critical for its development and proper functioning, such as the hippocampus, and various microstructures of the brain, such as myelin and neurotransmitters. Accordingly, iodine deficiency leads to the depletion of these structures, resulting in impaired cognitive abilities, memory loss, and an increased risk of pathological diseases and Alzheimer's disease.

Важнейшая роль йода заключается в обеспечении правильной работы щитовидной железы.
