WARNING
To prevent health risks and reduce the risk of injury:
• This product is intended for personal use only. Use of the product by two or more individuals may pose health risks.
• The product and its accessories are not heat-resistant. Keep them away from hot surfaces and open flames.
• Protect the product from direct sunlight.
• Before each use, inspect individual components for damage or wear. Operating a defective product is prohibited. Dispose of components at the first signs of damage or wear.
• Do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Do not make modifications to the product's design.
• Use the product only for its intended purpose as described in this user manual.
• Do not heat breast milk in a microwave or boil it. Heating breast milk in a microwave can create hot spots that may severely burn the baby's mouth (furthermore, microwaving may alter the composition of breast milk).
• Before first use, clean and disinfect all parts that come into contact with the breast and breast milk.
• Use only parts recommended by Medela for this product.
• During the first use of the breast pump, you may experience some discomfort; however, pumping should not be painful. If you are unsure of the correct size of the funnel for you, visit the website www.medela.ru or consult with your observing physician or lactation consultant who can help you find the right size.

The baby suckles at two "speeds." Initially, this is a fast motion, then after the milk begins to flow, it switches to a slower and deeper rhythm. Faster sucking stimulates the milk ejection reflex, while slower sucking is used for milk extraction during feeding.
Thanks to the 2-Phase Expression technology, the breast pump operates at two speeds, allowing it to mimic the natural sucking rhythm of the baby at the breast. The design of the breast pump handle allows you to start with the fast rhythm characteristic of the stimulation phase. To do this, quickly press the short side of the handle with your thumb. When milk appears or you feel it being ejected, switch to the expression phase - press the long side of the handle slowly with your fingers, completing a full stroke.
Suitable for mothers expressing milk occasionally or as a battery-free breast pump for travel.
