Medical plaster bandage with adhesive on a gauze base, size 15cm x 300m, is intended for applying external splints, plaster casts in case of fractures, for making splints, immobilization in the treatment of bone and joint diseases, in soft tissue injuries, and in other cases where the application of a fixing plaster cast is required.

• Put on gloves, a medical mask, and an apron.

• Remove the plaster bandage from the packaging.

• Lay out the dry plaster sheet of the required length, cut (if the plaster bandage is single-layered, it is recommended to fold the plaster sheet into 6-8 layers).

• Immerse in water at a temperature of 25±5°C for no more than 5 seconds.

• Remove from water, squeeze from the edges to the center to prevent plaster from leaking.

• Apply the dressing using the standard method.

It consists of strips of medical gauze impregnated with high-quality medical plaster. The content of CaSO4-2H2O is more than 94%.
To improve the plasticity and prevent crumbling of the bandages, medical plasticizers are included in the composition, which allows the plaster dressing to remain intact. The crumbling of the plaster bandage does not exceed 1%.
The surface density of the plaster mass is no more than 420 g/m², with a gauze density of 24 g/m², ensuring a lightweight plaster dressing and comfortable wear.
The zigzag edges of the bandage prevent the gauze threads from detaching during the modeling of the bandage.
The plaster bandage does not cause heating upon application to the skin.
The time to form a stable shape after the start of modeling the plaster bandage is no earlier than 2 minutes, and completion is no more than 4 minutes.

The dressings consist of a single roll of bleached gauze fabric, without seams or tears. High-tech equipment is used in production, allowing for the creation of bandages with varying setting times, necessary in surgery for different types of procedures. The resulting plaster bandages allow for good X-ray penetration and enable high-quality imaging. Minimal amounts of foreign impurities in the plaster composition eliminate skin allergic reactions.
