The drug is instilled into the conjunctival sac at a dosage of 1-2 drops 2-3 times a day. The treatment course lasts from 3 to 30 days.
If necessary and with good tolerance of the drug, the treatment course may be extended up to 6 months or repeated 2-3 times a year.

Active ingredient: methylethylpyridinol hydrochloride 10.0 mg.
Excipients: sodium sulfite, sodium benzoate, dipotassium hydrogen phosphate, sodium phosphate dodecahydrate, methylcellulose, water for injections.

Colorless or slightly colored, slightly opalescent liquid.

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy and breastfeeding, age under 18 years.

If simultaneous use of other eye drops is necessary, the preparation Methylethylpyridinol should be instilled last, after the complete absorption of the previous medication (not earlier than 15 minutes).
When shaken, foam may form on the surface due to the presence of methylcellulose in the composition. Unintentional shaking may occur during the transportation of the product. Foam formation does not affect the quality of the product; the foam disappears after a short time.

Rapidly penetrates into organs and tissues, where deposition and metabolism occur. In the eye tissues, the concentration of methylethylpyridinol is higher than in the blood. Five metabolites have been identified, consisting of dealkylated and conjugated transformation products.
In significant amounts, 2-ethyl-6-methyl-3-oxypyridine phosphate is found in the liver. Metabolites are excreted by the kidneys.
