Indications

The "Optimed+" solution is recommended for daily care of all types of soft contact lenses.
It is specially designed and recommended for long-lasting comfortable wear with all types of soft contact lenses.

Method of Use and Doses

CLEANING: Remove the lens from the eye, place it on the palm, and moisten it on both sides with a few drops of "Optimed+" Solution. Gently rub the lens with your index finger, making straight-line movements for 20 seconds.

RINSING: Rinse both surfaces of the lens under a stream of fresh "Optimed+" Solution for 5 seconds.

TREATMENT: Fill the container with fresh "Optimed+" Solution. Place the lens in the corresponding compartment of the container. The lens must be completely submerged in the solution. Repeat the same operation with the second lens. Leave the lenses in the closed container overnight or at least for four hours. Before putting on the lenses, thoroughly rinse them under a stream of fresh "Optimed+" Solution to complete the cleaning process.

Care for the Contact Lens Container: After each use of the lenses, the solution from the container must be poured out, rinsed with fresh "Optimed+" Solution, and air-dried. Always use fresh solution for rinsing the container. It is necessary to regularly, at least once a month, replace the container with a new one.

1L of "Optimed+" solution contains: sodium chloride 7.0±0.5 g, boric acid 3.0±0.5 g, glycerin 2.0±0.2 g, sodium tetraborate decahydrate 0.6±0.1 g, sodium carboxymethylcellulose 0.6±0.1 g, disodium salt of ethylenediamine-N,N,N',N'-tetraacetic acid, dihydrate (Trilon B) 0.5±0.1 g, guanidine hydrochloride 0.1±0.01 g, Tween 80 0.015±0.004 g, a mixture of dimethylbenzylammonium chlorides from the group of quaternary ammonium compounds 0.002±0.0008 g, distilled water up to 1.00 L.

Description

Optimed Plus universal solution for contact lenses is used for rinsing, moisturizing, disinfection, conditioning, and removing protein deposits from soft contact lenses. Cleaning is achieved through surfactants that remove contaminants from the lens surface. To enhance the cleaning properties, the solution includes a chelating agent that binds with calcium ions, removing salt deposits and increasing the destructive action of the disinfectant; rinsing ensures the final removal of contaminants. Disinfection is achieved through a broad-spectrum antiseptic agent with pronounced bactericidal properties. Moisturization is aided by a complex cellulose compound that increases the viscosity of the solution, coating the lens and acting as a conditioner, which ensures comfort during wear and faster adaptation to the lenses.
