How to use
The medication is taken orally, after meals (due to the possibility of reduced appetite).
Adults: 1 tablespoon 3 times a day;
Children aged 3 to 6 years: 1/2-1 teaspoon 3 times a day;
Children aged 6 to 12 years: 1-2 teaspoons 3 times a day;
Children over 12 years: 1 dessert spoon 3 times a day. The treatment course is 10-14 days.
Extension of the duration and conducting repeated treatment courses is possible upon the doctor's recommendation.

Взрослым по 1 столовой ложке 3 раза в день;
детям от 3 до 6 лет - по 1/2-1 чайной ложке 3 раза в день;
детям от 6 до 12 лет - по 1-2 чайные ложки 3 раза в день;
детям старше 12 лет - по 1 десертной ложке 3 раза в день. Курс лечения 10-14 дней.
Увеличение продолжительности и проведение повторных курсов лечения возможно по рекомендации врача.

вспомогательные вещества: сахарозы раствор 64 % (сахарный сироп), этанол (этиловый спирт) 95%, вода очищенная.
Густая жидкость коричневого цвета с ароматным запахом.
Contraindications & warnings
Increased sensitivity to the components of the drug; liver diseases; alcoholism; traumatic brain injury; brain diseases; epilepsy; chronic heart failure (in decompensated stage); pregnancy; lactation; pediatric age (up to 3 years).
Use with caution: Diabetes mellitus; pediatric age over 3 years (due to the presence of ethanol in the drug).
The preparation contains 8-11% ethanol. The absolute alcohol content is: in 1 teaspoon (5 ml) up to 0.43 g, in 1 dessert spoon (10 ml) up to 0.87 g, in 1 tablespoon (15 ml) up to 1.3 g. In the maximum daily dose of the preparation for adults - 3 tablespoons (45 ml) - there is up to 3.9 g of absolute alcohol.
During treatment, caution should be exercised when driving vehicles and engaging in other potentially dangerous activities that require increased attention and quick psychomotor reactions.
Instructions for patients with diabetes mellitus: the sucrose content in 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of the preparation corresponds to approximately 0.22 XE, in 1 dessert spoon (10 ml) - approximately 0.44 XE; in 1 tablespoon - approximately 0.66 XE.

Повышенная чувствительность к компонентам препарата, заболевания печени, алкоголизм, черепно-мозговая травма, заболевания головного мозга, эпилепсия, хроническая сердечная недостаточность (в стадии декомпенсации), беременность, период лактации, детский возраст (до 3лет).
С осторожностью Сахарный диабет; детский возраст старше 3лет (в связи с наличием этанола в препарате).
Препарат содержит 8-11 % этанола. Содержание абсолютного спирта составляет: в 1 чайной ложке (5 мл) до 0,43 г, в 1 десертной ложке (10 мл) - до 0,87 г, в 1 столовой ложке (15 мл) - до 1,3 г. В максимальной суточной дозе препарата для взрослых - 3 столовые ложки (45 мл) - содержится до 3,9 г абсолютного спирта.
В период лечения необходимо соблюдать осторожность при вождении автотранспорта и занятии другими потенциально опасными видами деятельности, требующими повышенной концентрации внимания и быстроты психомоторных реакций.

Side effects, overdose & interactions
Possible allergic reactions; heartburn.
In case of overdose, nausea may occur. Treatment: symptomatic.
The drug should not be used simultaneously with antitussive medications, as this complicates the expectoration of liquefied mucus.

Pertussin-Ch 100 g bottle syrup is a combined preparation used as an expectorant in the complex therapy of acute respiratory diseases; tracheitis, bronchitis, as well as in whooping cough. The composition of the preparation includes thyme extract and potassium bromide. Thyme herb extract has an expectorant effect, increases the amount of secretory discharge from the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract, promotes the thinning of mucus, and accelerates its evacuation. Potassium bromide reduces the excitability of the central nervous system. The preparation is taken orally, after meals (due to the possibility of reduced appetite) by adults and children from 3 years old. There are contraindications.
