Promedanz aerosol spacer s-MDI with mask for children

The spacer is used as a reservoir for the medicinal aerosol during inhalation with a metered-dose inhaler (MDI) for the treatment of respiratory diseases.
The mask is intended for children approximately 1 to 4 years of age (Please pay attention to the dimensions of the mask when selecting this model).

1. Attach the mouthpiece with the exhalation valve and the connecting adapter for the metered-dose inhaler (MDI) to the chamber/spacer. If necessary, attach the pediatric mask to the mouthpiece.
2. Take the metered-dose aerosol inhaler (MDI), remove the protective cap, shake it, and firmly insert it into the adapter slot on the chamber/spacer. When using the mask, ensure that it completely covers the nose and mouth.
3. First exhale, then press down on the metered-dose aerosol inhaler. After aerosol dispersion, take several slow, deep breaths.
4. After inhalation, it is necessary to rinse the mouth.

After each use, it is necessary to clean the chamber/spacer and mask. Rinse all parts of the spacer in warm water with added detergent, then rinse under running water. Disinfection of all parts of the device by boiling is permitted.

The aerosol chamber/spacer, valve proMEDANZ® S-MDI is intended for conducting inhalations using medicinal products in the form of metered-dose aerosol inhalers (MDIs). The spacer acts as a reservoir where the aerosol is first dispersed, and then the patient inhales it through the mouthpiece. When using the spacer, the speed of medication dispersion from the MDI is slowed down, and the aerosol remains in the chamber for some time, as the chamber body is made of anti-static material. The patient can take several calm and deep breaths through the mouthpiece or mask. This is especially important to prevent side effects due to the deposition of medication in the oropharynx.
