How to use

1 For small prostheses, trim the pad with scissors to fit at the back (see illustration).
2 Soak the pad in warm water for 10 seconds, remove, and let it drain.
3 Place the pad on the wet prosthesis with either side facing up. Leave a 2 mm wide free edge at the back of the pad.
4 Press the pad onto the prosthesis with the thumbs of both hands (starting from the middle) to ensure it lies flat on the prosthesis.

For hygiene reasons, change Protefix® fixing pads at least once a day.

1 При небольших протезах подрезать прокладку до соответствия сзади ножницами (см. рисунок).
2 Опустить прокладку на 10 секунд в теплую воду, вынуть и дать стечь.
3 Положить прокладку любой стороной на влажный протез. Оставить свободным задний край прокладки шириной 2 мм.
4 Прижать прокладку к протезу большими пальцами обеих рук (начиная с середины), чтобы она ровно лежала на протезе.

По гигиеническим соображениям менять Protefix® фиксирующие прокладки как минимум один раз в день.

Pharmacology

Protefix® Fixative Pads for Upper Jaw Dentures.

Good well-being and safety in use are the most important conditions for denture wearers.
Chafing and inflammation occurring on the gums while wearing dentures can cause significant discomfort. For these issues, Protefix® fixative pads made of fibrous cloth have proven to be effective.
The soft fixative pads are gentle on the gums and do not affect the bite height. Thus, they help to avoid chafing, especially with temporary dentures and during the adjustment phase to permanent dentures.
Protefix® fixative pads also alleviate discomfort in cases of unfavorable jaw structure and changes resulting from tooth extractions.
The fixative pads provide long-lasting retention of dentures and help prevent chafing on the gums.

Recommendations: if the denture becomes slightly loose after consuming a large amount of beverages, sprinkle a small amount of fixative powder on the pad.

Натертости и воспаления, возникающие на деснах при ношении зубных протезов, доставляют много неприятностей. При этих проблемах хорошо себя зарекомендовали фиксирующие прокладки Protefix®, состоящие из волокнистого холста.
Мягкие фиксирующие прокладки приятны для десен и не влияют на высоту прикуса. Таким образом, они позволяют избежать натертостей, особенно при временных протезах и на стадии привыкания к постоянным протезам.
Фиксирующие прокладки Protefix® также облегчают состояние при неблагоприятном строении челюсти и изменениях, возникших вследствие удаления зубов.
Фиксирующие прокладки обеспечивают длительное крепление протезов и позволяют избежать натертостей на деснах.

Рекомендации: если после обильного употребления напитков протез немного расшатается, посыпать на прокладку небольшое количество фиксирующего порошка

Protefix adhesive pads for dentures are designed for reliable fixation of dental prostheses on the upper jaw. Each package contains 30 pieces and consists of two layers: an adhesive layer and a soft layer. The adhesive layer ensures a strong attachment of the prosthesis to the gum, while the soft layer protects against irritation and provides comfort during wear. The pads are easy to apply and remove, leaving no residue on the teeth or gums. Their use helps to avoid discomfort and pain when wearing dental prostheses and maintains oral hygiene.

Протефикс фиксирующие прокладки для протезов предназначены для надежной фиксации зубных протезов на верхней челюсти. Каждая упаковка содержит 30 штук и состоит из двух слоев: адгезивного и мягкого.
