How to use

Recommended use: Pour 1 filter bag (1.5 g) with 1 cup (200 ml) of boiling water, heat in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for at least 45 minutes, strain, and adjust the volume of the resulting infusion to 200 ml with boiled water. Adults and children over 14 years old should take 1/2 cup of the infusion 2 times a day during meals while warm. Store the prepared infusion in the refrigerator for no more than 2 days.
The recommended intake meets an adequate level of flavonoid consumption by 17%*
*according to the Unified Requirements of the Customs Union
Nutritional value per 100 g of dry product: proteins - 10.63 g, fats - 12.75 g, carbohydrates - 20.43 g. Energy value - 315 kcal (1323 kJ).
Duration of intake: 1 month. If necessary, the intake can be repeated.

Pharmacology

Sage leaves possess soothing, disinfecting, expectorant, astringent, hemostatic, anti-inflammatory, choleretic, and diuretic properties. Due to the presence of essential oils, the infusion of sage leaves increases the secretory activity of the gastrointestinal tract and has a slight antispasmodic effect.
The infusion of leaves is used as an anti-inflammatory agent for gargling the oral cavity and throat (in cases of angina, tonsillitis, stomatitis, gingivitis, oral cavity lesions), in the treatment of pulpitis, for washing out festering wounds, ulcers, burns, and in cases of frostbite.
It is used as part of a comprehensive treatment regimen for joint rheumatism, chronic inflammatory and metabolic-dystrophic joint diseases, and deforming osteochondrosis in the form of general and local baths, and for applications.

Листья Шалфея обладают успокаивающим, дезинфицирующим, отхаркивающим, вяжущим, кровоостанавливающим, противовоспалительным, желчегонным, мочегонными свойствами.
