The Sensitec NF-3101 contactless infrared thermometer (compact) is used for measuring body temperature in adults and children in the forehead and temporal areas. This digital contactless thermometer is convenient for measuring the body temperature of small children while they are sleeping or playing. The principle of operation of the thermometers is based on converting the infrared radiation emitted by the skin of the forehead or ear into an electrical signal. The electrical signal is amplified, subjected to analog-to-digital conversion, and displayed in digital form on the liquid crystal display. During the conversion of infrared radiation and amplification of the electrical signal, a condition of proportionality between the value of the electrical signal and the intensity of the infrared radiation is ensured.
