Stapredin 5 mg/ml 10 pcs ampoules solution for intramuscular injection 1 ml

Chronic prostatitis; complications following surgical interventions on the prostate gland.

Intramuscularly, 5-10 mg once daily for 5-10 days.
If necessary, a repeat course may be conducted (after 1-6 months).

1 ml of solution contains:
Active ingredient:
prostate extract (Stapredin) calculated as water-soluble peptides – 5.0 mg
Excipients:
glycine – 50.0 mg, water for injections – up to 1 ml.

A clear solution ranging from colorless to light yellow.

The drug is used for the treatment of adult men; it is not used in women and children. The treatment of chronic prostatitis should be comprehensive, involving the prescription of STAPREDIN® along with the use of other groups of medications and non-pharmacological treatment methods. Before starting treatment for chronic prostatitis and, if necessary, during the treatment process, it is recommended to conduct an analysis of the prostatic secretion.

Cases of overdose of the drug have not been reported.

The drug can be used in combination therapy. Cases of interaction or incompatibility with other medications have not been reported.

Helps reduce edema, leukocyte infiltration, and thrombosis of the venules in the prostate gland; normalizes the secretory function of epithelial cells; increases the number of lecithin grains in the acinar secretion; stimulates the muscle tone of the bladder. Reduces thrombosis; has anti-aggregating activity.
