Orally, after meals.
Children aged 3 to 6 years - ½ teaspoon 3 times a day.
Children aged 6 to 12 years - 1 teaspoon 3 times a day.
Adolescents aged 12 to 18 years - 1 dessert spoon 3 times a day.
Adults - 1 tablespoon 3 times a day.

Viscous liquid from light brown to dark brown in color with a faint characteristic odor.

Increased sensitivity to the components of the drug; peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum during exacerbation; alcoholism; epilepsy; liver diseases; traumatic brain injury; brain diseases; sucrose/isomaltase deficiency; fructose intolerance; glucose-galactose malabsorption; pregnancy and breastfeeding; age under 3 years.

With caution:
Diabetes mellitus; individuals on a low-carbohydrate diet; children over 3 years of age.

With prolonged use at doses exceeding the recommended levels, symptoms of "bromism" may occur: rhinitis, cough, conjunctivitis, lethargy, memory impairment, apathy, skin rash; nausea, vomiting.

Do not use simultaneously with medications containing antitussive agents, as this complicates the expulsion of liquefied mucus.

The alkaloids contained in the Thermopsis herb (cytisine, methylcytisine, pachycarpine, anagyrine, thermopsin, thermopsidin) stimulate the respiratory center and, at high doses, the vomiting center. The extract of licorice exerts an expectorant effect, primarily due to the presence of glycyrrhizin, which enhances the secretory function of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract. Potassium bromide reduces the excitability of the central nervous system. Ammonium chloride has an expectorant and diuretic effect.
