Among the many factors that ensure the normal state of the body, balanced nutrition plays an important role. Unfortunately, not everyone can adhere to its principles, resulting in a deficiency of vitamins and trace elements in the body.

The daily dose (1 tablet) contains - 100 mcg (±15 %)

Selenium is one of the essential ultra-trace elements for humans. In the dietary supplement "Selenium 100 mcg VITAMIR®," selenium is present in the form of selenomethionine - a readily absorbable organic form. In the body, selenium performs numerous functions and is a component of many enzymes.
Selenium is a powerful antioxidant. It is known that selenium is part of the enzyme glutathione peroxidase, which prevents the destruction of cell membranes by free radicals.
Selenium contributes to the improvement of the functional state of the cardiovascular system by stimulating blood supply to the heart.
Selenium is also important for the normal functioning of the immune and reproductive systems, exhibiting antitoxic activity in cases of poisoning with heavy metal salts. Selenium acts as an antagonist to cadmium, arsenic, and mercury, preventing their accumulation and promoting their rapid elimination from the body.
Selenium has a rejuvenating effect on the skin, helping to smooth it, and also supports the good condition of hair.

Селен - один из жизненно необходимых для человека ультрамикроэлементов. В составе БАД «Селен 100 мкг ВИТАМИР®» селен содержится в виде селенометионина - легкоусвояемой органической формы. В организме селен выполняет множество функций, входит в состав многих ферментов.
Селен является мощным антиоксидантом. Известно, что селен входит в состав фермента глутатионпероксидазы, который препятствует разрушению мембран клеток под действием свободных радикалов.
Селен способствует улучшению функционального состояния сердечнососудистой системы за счет стимуляции кровоснабжения сердца.
Также селен имеет значение для нормальной работы иммунной и репродуктивной систем, проявляет антитоксическую активность при отравлении солями тяжелых металлов. Селен является антагонистом кадмия, мышьяка и ртути, препятствует их накоплению и способствует быстрому выведению из организма.
