Pharmacology

SHIITAKE COMPLEX - Dietary supplement (BAA) - additional source of zinc, source of polysaccharides (beta-glucans).

Daily dose (2 capsules) contains:
Zinc (in the form of zinc citrate) 12 mg (±15 %) 80¹% of the recommended1 daily intake
Polysaccharides 300 mg (±15 %) 12²% of the adequate2 daily intake
including
beta-glucans (from shiitake mushroom extract) 250 mg (±20 %) 125²*% of the adequate2 daily intake
1 - according to TR TS 022/2011 "Food products regarding their labeling" (Appendix 2);
2 - according to "Unified sanitary-epidemiological and hygienic requirements for products (goods) subject to sanitary-epidemiological supervision (control)" (Chapter II, section 1, Appendix 5);

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
Shiitake (Lentinus edodes s. Agaricus edodes) is an edible higher fungus that contains beta-glucans - precursors of a class of carbohydrates known as polysaccharides. Beta-glucans are classified as dietary fibers. Their ability to slow down the absorption and digestion processes in the small intestine may lead to a reduction in the level of "bad" cholesterol in the blood. Additionally, this group of compounds has an immunostimulating effect by enhancing the induction (activation) of various classes of cells responsible for the immune response: T-lymphocytes, macrophages, as well as nonspecific immune reactions.

Zinc (Zn) is also necessary for the normal functioning of the immune system, as it aids in the formation of T-lymphocytes. This trace element is also involved in protein, mineral, and fat metabolism. Zinc is a component of insulin - a hormone produced by the pancreas that regulates blood glucose levels. Furthermore, the nutrient positively influences insulin secretion and reduces fat content in internal organs.

АКТИВНЫЕ ИНГРЕДИЕНТЫ:
Шиитаке (Lentinus edodes s. Agaricus edodes) представляет собой съедобный высший гриб, в состав которого входят бета-глюканы - предшественники такого класса углеводов, как полисахариды. Бета-глюканы относят к пищевым волокнам. Их способность замедлять процессы всасывания и переваривания пищи в тонкой кишке может приводить к снижению уровня «плохого» холестерина в крови. Кроме того, эта группа соединений обладает иммуностимулирующим эффектом за счет усиления индукции (активации) различных классов клеток, ответственных за иммунный ответ: Т-лимфоцитов, макрофагов, а также неспецифических иммунных реакций.

Цинк (Zn) также необходим для нормального функционирования системы иммунитета, поскольку содействует образованию Т-лимфоцитов. Этот микроэлемент участвует также в белковом, минеральном и жировом обмене. Цинк входит в состав инсулина - гормона поджелудочной железы, регулирующего концентрацию глюкозы в крови. Помимо этого, нутриент положительно влияет на секрецию инсулина и уменьшает содержание жира во внутренних органах.
