How to use

Pour 1 teaspoon (2 g) of crushed plant material with 1 cup (200 ml) of boiling water, let it steep for 15 minutes, and strain the infusion.
Adults should take ½ cup (100 ml) of the infusion once a day during meals.
Store the prepared infusion in the refrigerator for no more than 2 days.
Duration of intake - 2-3 weeks.
Repeated intake is possible within a year.

St. John's Wort possesses spasmolytic, vasodilatory, anti-inflammatory, astringent, bacteriostatic, diuretic, anthelmintic, capillary-strengthening, and photosensitizing properties.
Preparations of St. John's Wort exert a spasmolytic effect on the smooth muscles of the small and large intestines, blood vessels, bile ducts, and ureters, as well as an anti-inflammatory effect on the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract. For this reason, St. John's Wort is widely used for the treatment of the digestive system.
By relieving spasms, St. John's Wort preparations restore normal peristalsis and digestive capacity of the gastrointestinal tract, increase bile flow, prevent bile stagnation in the gallbladder, and thereby reduce the possibility of stone formation within it.
Exerting a capillary-strengthening effect, St. John's Wort improves venous blood circulation and blood supply to certain internal organs, reduces tension in the walls of the ureters, and increases filtration in the renal glomeruli. The tannins contained in St. John's Wort endow it with anti-inflammatory and mild astringent properties.

По этой причине зверобой продырявленный широко применяется для лечения пищеварительной системы.
