Centaurium herb 50 g pack

As a bitter agent to stimulate appetite and improve digestion in cases of gastritis with reduced secretion, liver diseases, gallbladder diseases.

About 10 g (2 tablespoons) of the herb is placed in an enamel container, poured with 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, covered with a lid, and heated in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, then cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, strained, and the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the resulting infusion is adjusted with boiled water to 200 ml.
Take orally in warm form, 1/4 cup 2-3 times a day, 30 minutes before meals.
It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.

Herb of Centaury (Centaurii herba)

Pieces of stems, leaves, and flowers of various shapes in yellowish-green, pinkish-purple, yellowish-pink, and yellow colors. The smell is weak. The taste of the aqueous extract is bitter.

Increased sensitivity to centaury preparations. Increased gastric secretion, peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum, reflux esophagitis. Pregnancy, children under 12 years of age.

Allergic reactions are possible. In large doses, the preparations of Centaurium may cause digestive disorders.

The herb Centaury contains bitters, flavonoids, xanthones, ascorbic acid, and others.
An infusion of Centaury herb stimulates the secretion of digestive glands, enhances intestinal peristalsis, and exerts a mild laxative effect.

Store the prepared infusion in a cool place for no more than 2 days.
