• Fungal infections of the skin and skin folds (tinea corporis, tinea inguinalis);

• Interdigital mycoses (tinea manuum, tinea pedum);

• Fungal infections of the nails (onychomycosis);

• Cutaneous candidiasis;

• Pityriasis versicolor;

• Dermatomycoses (with or without accompanying itching).

How to use

For external use.
In case of skin lesions
Naftifine is applied once daily to the affected skin surface and the surrounding areas (approximately 1 cm of healthy skin at the edges of the affected area) after thorough cleansing and drying.
Duration of therapy for dermatomycoses - 2-4 weeks (if necessary, up to 8 weeks); for candidiasis - 4 weeks.
In case of nail lesions
Naftifine is applied twice daily to the affected nail. Before the first application, the affected part of the nail should be maximally removed with scissors or a nail file.
Duration of therapy for onychomycosis - up to 6 months.
To prevent recurrence, treatment should be continued for at least 2 weeks after the clinical symptoms have disappeared.
If there is no improvement after treatment or new symptoms appear, it is necessary to consult a doctor. Use the product only according to the method of application and in the doses specified in the instructions. If necessary, please consult a doctor before using the medication.

При поражении кожи
Препарат Нафтифин наносят 1 раз в день на пораженную поверхность кожи и прилегающие к ней участки (приблизительно 1 см здорового участка кожи по краям зоны поражения) после их тщательной очистки и высушивания.
Длительность терапии при дерматомикозах - 2-4 недели (при необходимости до 8 недель), при кандидозах - 4 недели.
При поражении ногтей
Препарат Нафтифин наносят 2 раза в день на пораженный ноготь. Перед первым применением препарата максимально удаляют пораженную часть ногтя ножницами или пилкой для ногтей.
Длительность терапии при онихомикозах - до 6 месяцев.
Для предотвращения рецидива лечение следует продолжить в течение минимум 2 недель после исчезновения клинических симптомов.
Если после лечения улучшения не наступает или появляются новые симптомы, необходимо проконсультироваться
с врачом. Применяйте препарат только согласно тому способу применения и в тех дозах, которые указаны в инструкции. В случае необходимости, пожалуйста, проконсультируйтесь с врачом перед применением лекарственного препарата.

Composition

Composition per 1 ml:
Active ingredient: naftifine hydrochloride - 10 mg.
Excipients: propylene glycol - 50 mg; ethanol (ethyl alcohol 95%) - 400 mg; purified water - up to 1 ml.

Transparent, colorless or slightly yellow solution with an ethanol odor.

Вспомогательные вещества: пропиленгликоль - 50 мг, этанол (этиловый спирт 95 %) - 400 мг, вода очищенная - до 1 мл.

Contraindications & warnings

Hypersensitivity to naftifine or other components of the product. Pregnancy and breastfeeding period (safety and efficacy have not been established).
Application on wound surfaces.

Pediatric age (clinical experience is limited).
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
The use of the product during pregnancy and breastfeeding is contraindicated (the safety and efficacy of naftifine in this patient category have not been studied).

The drug Naftifine is not intended for ophthalmic use. Avoid contact with the eyes.
To achieve a therapeutic effect, a course of treatment is required.
Naftifine is effective in treating mycoses affecting areas of skin with hyperkeratosis, as well as in hair growth areas.
Propylene glycol, included in the solution, may cause skin irritation; if side effects occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
Effect of the drug on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery
Naftifine does not have a negative impact on the ability to drive vehicles or perform other activities that require concentration and quick psychomotor responses.

Препарат Нафтифин не предназначен для применения в офтальмологии. Не следует допускать попадания препарата в глаза.
Для достижения терапевтического эффекта требуется курсовое лечение.
Препарат Нафтифин эффективен при лечении микозов, поражающих области кожи с гиперкератозом, а также в зонах роста волос.
Пропиленгликоль, входящий в состав раствора, может вызывать раздражение кожи; при появлении побочных эффектов необходимо прекратить применение препарата и обратиться к врачу.
Влияние лекарственного препарата на способность управлять транспортными средствами, механизмами
Препарат Нафтифин не оказывает отрицательного влияния на способность управлять транспортными средствами и выполнять другие виды деятельности, требующие концентрации внимания и быстроты психомоторных реакций.

Side effects, overdose & interactions

In some cases, local reactions may occur: skin dryness, skin hyperemia (redness), and burning sensation. The side effects are reversible and do not require discontinuation of treatment. If any of the side effects listed in the instructions worsen, or if any other side effects not mentioned in the instructions occur, it is necessary to inform a doctor immediately.

When used according to the instructions for use, overdose is unlikely. In case of accidental ingestion, gastric lavage and symptomatic therapy are indicated.

Interaction with other medicinal products has not been studied.

В отдельных случаях могут наблюдаться местные реакции: сухость кожи, гиперемия кожи (покраснение) и жжение. Побочные эффекты носят обратимый характер и не требуют отмены лечения. Если любые
из указанных в инструкции побочных эффектов усугубляются, или отмечаются любые другие побочные эффекты,
не указанные в инструкции, следует немедленно сообщить об этом врачу.

При применении препарата в соответствии с инструкцией по применению передозировка маловероятна. При случайном приеме внутрь показано промывание желудка, симптоматическая терапия.

Взаимодействие с другими лекарственными средствами не изучалось.

Pharmacology

Naftifine is an antifungal agent for external use, belonging to the class of allylamines. It is active against dermatophytes such as Trichophyton, Epidermophyton, Microsporum, mold fungi (Aspergillus spp.), yeast fungi (Candida spp., Pityrosporum), and other fungi (e.g., Sporothrix schenckii). Naftifine exhibits fungicidal activity against dermatophytes and aspergilli. For yeast fungi, the drug shows either fungicidal or fungistatic activity depending on the strain of the microorganism. It has antibacterial activity against both gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms that can cause secondary bacterial infections. It possesses anti-inflammatory effects that contribute to the rapid resolution of inflammation symptoms, especially itching.

When applied externally, it penetrates well into the skin, creating stable antifungal concentrations in various layers, which allows for the medication to be used once a day.

Нафтифин - противогрибковое средство для наружного применения, относящееся к классу аллиламинов. Активен в отношении дерматофитов, таких как Trichophyton, Epidermophyton, Microsporum, плесневых грибов (Aspergillus spp.), дрожжевых грибов (Candida spp., Pityrosporum) и других грибов (например, Sporothrix schenckii). В отношении дерматофитов и аспергилл нафтифин действует фунгицидно. В отношении дрожжевых грибов препарат проявляет фунгицидную или фунгистатическую активность в зависимости от штамма микроорганизма.
