How to use

For external use. The ointment is applied directly to the affected skin surface or on a gauze pad. Dressings are changed every 1-2 days. The treatment course is 10-14 days. If there is no improvement after 10-14 days of treatment, or if symptoms worsen, or new symptoms appear, it is necessary to consult a doctor. Use the product only according to the indications, method of application, and dosages specified in the instructions.

Наружно. Мазь наносят непосредственно на пораженную поверхность кожи или на марлевую салфетку. Перевязки производят через 1-2 дня. Курс лечения 10-14 дней. Если через 10-14 дней лечения улучшения не наступает или симптомы усугубляются, или появляются новые симптомы, необходимо проконсультироваться с врачом. Contraindications & warnings

Increased sensitivity to sulfonamides; blood system diseases; bone marrow suppression; anemia; chronic heart failure; thyrotoxicosis; renal-hepatic insufficiency; azotemia; porphyria; congenital glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency; pregnancy; breastfeeding.
With caution: Children under 3 years of age.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
The use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is contraindicated, as data is unavailable.

Premature discontinuation of treatment with the drug may contribute to the development of sulfonamide-resistant strains of microorganisms. During therapy, abundant alkaline drinking is recommended.

Side effects, overdose & interactions

Allergic reactions; with prolonged use of large doses - systemic effects: headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia, cyanosis, crystalluria. If any of the side effects listed in the instructions worsen, or if you notice any other side effects not mentioned in the instructions, inform your doctor.

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, intestinal colic, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, depression, fainting spells, confusion, vision impairment, fever, hematuria, crystalluria; with prolonged overdose - thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, megaloblastic anemia, jaundice. Treatment: symptomatic therapy.

Myelotoxic medications enhance the manifestation of the hematotoxicity of the drug. If you are using the above-mentioned or other medications (including over-the-counter), consult your doctor before using the drug.

Аллергические реакции; при длительном применении больших доз - системное действие: головная боль, головокружение, тошнота, рвота, диспепсия, цианоз, кристаллурия. Если любые из указанных в инструкции побочных эффектов усугубляются, или Вы заметили любые другие побочные эффекты, не указанные в инструкции, сообщите об этом врачу.

Симптомы: тошнота, рвота, кишечная колика, головокружение, головная боль, сонливость, депрессия, обморочные состояния, спутанность сознания, нарушение зрения, лихорадка, гематурия, кристаллурия; при продолжительной передозировке - тромбоцитопения, лейкопения, мегалобластная анемия, желтуха. Лечение: симптоматическая терапия.

Миелотоксичные лекарственные средства усиливают проявление гематотоксичности препарата. Если Вы применяете вышеперечисленные или другие лекарственные препараты, (в том числе безрецептурные) перед применением препарата проконсультируйтесь с врачом.

The mechanism of action is due to competitive antagonism with para-aminobenzoic acid, inhibiting dihydropteroate synthase, which leads to a disruption in the synthesis of tetrahydrofolic acid, necessary for the synthesis of purines and pyrimidines. It is active against gram-positive and gram-negative cocci, Escherichia coli, Shigella spp., Vibrio cholerae, Clostridium perfringens, Bacillus anthracis, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Yersinia pestis, Chlamydia spp., Actinomyces israelii, Toxoplasma gondii.
